I'D JUST LIKE TO INTERJECT FOR A MOMENT. WHAT YOU'RE REFERRING TO AS LINUX IS IN FACT GNU/LINUX, OR AS I'VE RECENTLY TAKEN TO CALLING IT, GNU + LINUX. LINUX IS NOT AN OPERATING SYSTEM UNTO ITSELF, BUT RATHER ANOTHER FREE COMPONENT OF A FULLY FUNCTIONING GNU SYSTEM

The "Why?" someone or group of people do things is hard to say sometimes...

So I saw this comment on a video page that made me realise that often things are covered up so well that we find it hard to get to the final pin-point of a problem and even endlessly talk about it, basically because it is our usual practise to wait for a guilty verdict by others or need for the person or persons to admit they have done wrong / say they wished to do ill-will or catch them in the act etc in order for us to start to do something about it! Often too late!

We seem to need them to tell us in order to start to close things so we are staying in the uncertain middle waiting for them or system to tell us 'yep now you really need to do something about it as we've confessed!'.

Without them admitting it, and since much is done behind closed doors, we're constantly wondering when they will be honest to us, when the answer is more likely NEVER.

To perhaps expect confession is more than naive to start 'real progress' in life and needs to be earlier. Until then we are more guessing or not as willing to pull the plug on professional cheaters or structural corruption (not willing to accuse without 100% evidence or confession).

Their 'terrible' performance is perhaps what should be enough evidence (measurable by actions and inaction) to see this is really deliberately bad work (e.g. deliberately cheating people / misguiding them).

This is the comment I saw / inspired me:

"Endlessly talking about the 'What' but never the 'WHY'"
- @Jeremy-ho3vi

For example: under a company name or even any individual, they might constantly distract from main point or don't answer straight from position of power. And never admit to doing wrong.

So for presenter of any TV talk show, it's hard to say concretely and point finger to anyone if nobody has said for sure "I did it" or "Fuck you" as indicator - This part is us being stuck in the middle and like a glitch in the "honest Matrix" which we all hold more honestly than not (nobody wants to accuse with knowing more concretely).

So this waiting or not being sure can break real progress endlessly and because we haven't caught it early enough or known how we are waiting way too long and that involves more and more problems.

---------------------------------------
WHAT MY ANSWER / TRYING FOR A SOLUTION
---------------------------------------

asking questions and at least showing we get 0 answers as evidence itself I think is a good start. (WE = individual or group of workers that could be named XYZ so names are not specifically mentioned <--- a tactic companies use!)

...and even without much context of this video (didn't see video and wasn't a long reaction) I can see that this has happened time and time again from my work, parents not wanting to do something but not declaring why, people letting things slide (which can be ok for parents sometimes who do not want to over-focus with kids), and government responsibility is paramount.

We basically need a solution / a real kill-shot for those that deliberately delay, hope people will forget or get tired, stay deluding people while it gets worse and without much responsibility of their *inactions* <--- (harder to measure inactions than actions by others, but by not answering questions etc, it's a good way to measure and see what they do answer or do/don't do)

-----^ so measuring inactions can be hard but I think there are patterns we can match to smell when we're being taken for a ride.

Ultimately bosses know we might not have power to take over... but we can show their disguise by asking them questions (often perhaps) and getting them to fuck up their answers more to even confess from lack of togetherness in company to cover all the tricks all the time and having too many lies around!

So while it's vital for culprits to say "I did it because of the money" or "I wanted this because of that" I think there is merit in taking care of things earlier as part of normal process of 'taking care from bastard-attacks' and not letting all the power go to people's head at the top unaccounted for.

A way is needed to get them answerable in which often silence is the tactic and then saying it's "because of health and safety" or XYZ cover-up reasons only a guise to betray people.

This seems like a long text but so often and subtley I think people are doing this... and I had to pick up on this because people are saying things that aren't true basically AND they know it, or go along with it as it's related to pay check (when there are code's of conduct etc to hang on to).

People participating in the future problems isn't good, so getting them pin to the crime is often about getting them to say it or at least explain and show inactions, lack of participating, measurable negligence etc...

Privacy Invasion?... Like Boiling a Frog or Human...

"As time passes, people who lived through German surveillance states die, replaced by a younger generation with no first-hand experience and the fears that come with it. Besides, tech companies like Google and Meta have encroached on privacy one small step at a time.

Like the famous allegory about a frog being slowly boiled alive, privacy violations don’t seem so upsetting when delivered bit by bit over time."

Save Your Water - Put in Toilet - Conserving / Saving Your water / Re-usage...

I've been using my hand-washing water and pouring it in the toilet.

I don't use soaps often so I can use the water for toilet and even plants.

The idea is reuse of used water (or occasionally not using drinking water) for things that don't need or water is changed enough that it doesn't really matter...

to for toilet every now and again or for nature / growing things !

moving stuff from server to server reminds you how nice the internet is.

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY!

The theme for 2023 is Embrace Equity

“Equity means creating an inclusive world.”

“When we embrace equity, we embrace diversity, and we embrace inclusion.”

“We embrace equity to forge harmony and unity, and to help drive success for all.”

“Equality is the goal, and equity is the means to get there.”

“Through the process of equity, we can reach equality.”

Quotes are from IWD website

We can start by embracing and recognizing the equity needs that are unique to ourselves at any given point in our lives. As a woman artist, I knew early on that I would need to be responsible for creating my own market interest in my work. Commercial galleries and museums are just now starting to really grapple with underrepresenting and undervaluing work by women artists. I knew also that a supportive, courageous group of fellow women artists would allow us all to champion and enhance our abilities for creative success.
