@PawelK We'll have to see what closing all the nuclear plants does to Germany this winter.

Our forecast for the next year really depends on what La Nina is going to do. Looking at the ocean currents, I suspect we'll go 4th and beyond, up to the point of not calling it a cycle. Sucks to be Australia.
@JonKramer Great, we get that in Toronto soon.

You can see that the Pacific plumes have hit NorAm very high, and so, we are getting clippers, which are a combination of cold and snow.

Snow is coming and I'm setting up my microgreens. All the wine cases are in the basement. We expect a brutal winter.
Finland nuclear problem

To me, this is a big thing because of my previous experience. They have to scan the cracks and see if there is fatigue. Anything soft like heat exchangers can go into destructive 'organ pipe' failure.
@jonreed Love it, but the line before last and the first has the wrong meter and it throws it off. May I suggest the following variant:
There once was a man called Musk,
Who hollowed the bird to a husk,
We migrated and flew,
To friends old and new,
And now we are fans of the tusk
@Baley Do they call you Ms Work, Dr. Work, or Miss Work. :)
@freemo I have cannabis coming out of my ears! Our limit of 4 plants does enough for several years. And that rhymes! A shot of the heavenly plant makes you creative. :)
@PhDMarie I think the teachers here should have a card for all the new people flooding in. Questions like - is this a good career? What courses do you need, etc.
@freemo Here in Canada, growers are trading a pound of cannabis for two beers, according to an ex-grower.
@jellycrystals That sounds like fun. These days you could use a phone accelerometer.
@Floyd All temperatures and Arctic ice volume have been 'out of band' recently for the extrapolations. Is there a general belief that they will go back to the bands?
@Floyd The last bit is hooking. It's up to you to decide. This is from the monthly PIOMASS report.
Descended from Unix freaks, I evolved to Linux. Some people might consider me old at 60+, but I'm suing the world to get my age down to 30.
I have a blog https://ontario-geofish.blogspot.com/
and it is read by 8 people. My formal education is in an extinct branch of science called geophysics. Since there was no money in it, I went to engineering. I've done tunnels, radwaste thingies, etc.
