@gpowerf I'm expecting them to last 5 years, since you would throw the old junk away by that time. The fine old 30 inch colour console tv lasted 30 years, but during a time of zero technical change.

#physics **Pumped Storage** It's hilarious, but we are awash in electricity at night. That's from the nuclear plants. If anybody figured out a good storage system (think freezing!) then no need for solar, etc.

**Christmas has been disease-free** When the new covid variant comes out, you can be sure that I, in Toronto, will get it first. I've had three 'knockdowns' already. Then, I can laugh at the rest of you. :)

#physics **However, the continental ice is building** There's no physics here. A healthy glacier spouts out ice. The volume decreases during a surge, and increases during a 'pause'. However, the influencers don't do physics, which is fine. Looking at the temperature chart, Antarctica is flat as a pancake.

**Forced political innovation** It's never right. With the physics view, rather than groupthink, we should be pushing methanol fuel cells with super-capacitors. That plays into Canada's strength. Lithium batteries are a China thing. However, we must go for the photo ops. :)
