Bad instance idea: Cursed Amnesia servers
1) All users must behave and present themselves is a non-identifiable way
2) any user reliably identified will be suspended from the user, they can always open another account
3) Server will change its URL once a day, currently registered users will get an email of the new address
4) when the address changes all handles of users are automatically randomized. Login will remain the same but it will appear as a fresh new account with no posts or followers. The old account will still remain as will your posts.

@Surasanji @arteteco By the way side note. I've been reaching out to famous STEM oriented people on twitter and asking their permission to mirror their accounts here. I figure this might get us some free attention through asking, but also lets us improve the content here and list the bots as "official" mirrors. In all cases I give a password to the individual (though im not sure any of them would login).
I'm trying to be very selective and only add people who agree. I also make the accounts unlisted.
Man I hope they do the final season of Game of Thrones soon. It's been several years since the last season, will they ever finish the series!?

She's autistic and has been struggling to balance her responsibilities with the things she enjoys. Her enthusiasm is one of her best qualities, but lately she insists that she can't like anything without it becoming an "obsession" that gets in the way of other things.
Consequently, she's become afraid to have an interest in anything at all. Does anyone know some autism-supportive resources to help her?

Literally a movement who's entire purpose is to intentionally create an echo chamber by defederating from anyone who doesn't hold their political beliefs, and then cite the very reason for doing so was in disgust of how the other side is an echo chamber.

Not many news actually, but my engagement with the Italian #PirateParty is draining the vast majority of my energy.
I'm wondering if #hackers should have their own parties, focused on spreading knowledge and making real things, not just talking... and talking... and talking...
Really, it's heart breaking to see what they are doing to the "Pirate" part of the Pirate Party.
I mean: they not even try to fight #Surveillance!

Seems I had to unfollow virtually everyone from spinster sadly (I dont block or mute usually though since I'm a mod). Virtually 100% of the posts and boosts I see from there is some anti-trans nonsense. I really have no interest in seeing that sort of bigotry in my feed.
That said I havent seen them actually seek out and harass trans people, as far as i can tell they mostly keep to themselves. So, i guess thats something ::shrug::
