Important QOTO announcement!
We are currently debating language rule changes in our Discourse forum. The current direction is that we may eforce in the next day a english-only rule for the server (though likely we will make an exception for accounts that are already established on the server that dont speak english). We havent made the decision final yet but we will be in the next day.
Please, if this topic is important to you please contribute to the conversation on our Discourse forum. So far no one has objected but if anyone does we would like to hear from you..

Im a bit of a WWII buff myself and I'm always disappointed no one talks more about Rudolf Hess.. Like the dude was actually adolf hitler's vice president for lack of a better word (deputy fuhrer) and his right hand man since the early days of Nazi Germany.
He wound up defying Hitler, stealing a plane, and flying into enemy territory in an attempt to end hostilities and negotiate a peace. How is such a huge event always left out of talks about WWII...
I'm not saying the guy is a hero, and obviously im glad we toppled the Nazi regime rather than just make peace. But its still a remarkably interesting piece of the story that always seems to get swept under the rug.

I find it ironic that most people see europe as more liberal than the USA yet most people I know who move there are staunch conservatives who move there because the policies they care about and the people themselves are overall **less** liberal than the USA.
It seems very few people even realize that by many measures europe is more conservative rather than liberal. A prime example of this would be the taxation scheme which in much of europe has a lower ratio between the poor and the rich classes (closer to flat tax).

@freemo Here we prepare a meal called squid in its ink and it is very simple to prepare and delicious!
I make it simplier than this guy, i only chop the squid and put it inti the ink sauce, but just for ilustrate.
