The tough part is when it's less clear and this is where I'd favour a bit of trial and error or further inquiry when it's not 100# clear or even 80%.

❓ WHY NOT BLOCK MORE?! ❓

I have seen a lot of misdirection when it's less clear or first-impression is cause for block which is a very serious problem for both sides and #Fediverse as a whole.

It actually generates #hate and disappointment itself for people coming to "Social" while obviously needing to balance what it means to each. To see #blocks just from those replying is in itself is a bit shocking at times like people are bugs to eliminate for giving others time.

And that simply generates hate especially if people come to you for knowledge, being a fan or whatever it is not clear... being unduly being blocked makes it worse I'm sure of that.

🔴 Why people hate [INSERT YOUR HERO HERE] ❓
... is because they are unreachable or seemingly there luring you there and then turn out to be acting like jerks to others or nice jerks secretly blocking or just ignoring you until actually you have to get demanding or nasty. Nice people often don't see they leave others no choice to get nasty.

That is bad to start with regardless of what someone would say.... AND not saying why respectfully or even having a team for you "fan" base or operation because you're cheap I think doesn't help.

When it's not clear or when it obviously happens (for some less known reasons) is something to work on, on some level. Like why was it they were shitty ? What's the origins?

It's a good question that something short could allow the other feedback to shed light on at least on their exit out the blocked door!... 🚪 ⛔

A few I've tried with ranging from basic hi, to deeper "I want to solve the world like you let's talk about this and this".

Fom Coders to Educators - a lot of the popular people I think go for speed and do this kind of shortcut-bad-work / lack of detail with people so if there are 100's of fans, then maybe they think it's ok to ditch some fans without much of a loss because they will always be "another one" who will come to my Livestream channel. How society now is often very disposable, undervalued, condemned (a bit harsh as a list) but lacking of listening to people etc gets us towards this post... and this all compounds these behaviours (even tje not answering and not declaring why).

❓ ECHO CHAMBERS / LOW QUALITY FEDIVERSE ❓

Echo chambers are common so again to let someone know is respectfully (if it's not clear abuse and cursing) helps to know why and the "why are they here / on my profile?").

🔴 TRY NOT TO USE INFLAMING / INSULTING WORDS LIKE TROLLS.

Calling people trolls REALLY earns you more bad attention because nobody like hearing de-humanising words (despite if they show signs of it)... and not those you're trying to get less attention from - DUH!

Call people a troll means that they act it or that you call them to act after calling them names... even those that you may not have directed comments to...

🔴 THIS DOES NOT EXCUSE THE CLEAR BAD

Not excusing bad behaviour *at all* but in this case I'm talking about people having over-charged etiquette expectation and way of chat that can earn you a block as a lesser offense.

🔴 EMOTIONALLY IMPULSIVE OR STRATEGICALLY CONSTRUCTIVE? BOTH?

Which reminds me of people who 'don't have time' for you but then will respond to certain things suggesting impulsive emotionally responding and rabbit holes, not maintaining #consistency and more following their ego or take-only approach, and not #logic despite be able to make a #logical article.

Even friendship attempts are doubted / suspicious / guilty of something wrong despite 0 lack of measurement and 0 testing.

This makes the block totally wrong tool and too easy sometimes.

🔴❓ WRITING MORE IN THE PROFILE - ❓ (YES IF YOU CARE OR WILL CARE LATER...)

If popular people also are not clear in their profile about their usage (e.g. "this is just a one-way account so don't expect any reply but I'll have a look at your profile maybe if it interests me" and if people don't write for example that they are not interested in X, Y, Z topics then it's not fair to write angry reply after 3rd attempt of "Why don't you reply why?" etc.

What do we expect?
What do others expect?

If you don't want things closely related to A, B, C then it is a bit of a #honeypot / #honeytrap 🍯 for those with some interest 🐝 constantly coming back to your X, Y, Z topics around the same scenario.

Nobody is wiser or constructive overall if we don't do some of this stuff - so this is why I am writing it here.

🔴 Sometimes I think the person likes the chaos

-calling people "trolls" secretly and enjoyed for drumming up the hyperbol / getting some action from others / repliers / increasing drama / drumming up their own importance on their profile... we see how lots of popular / famous people encourage / use this...

Almost like keeping terrorists to then talk about them constantly after or say "see" that's why we have to block them (rather than solving and clearing up things in our own back yard or behaviour regardless if it's a shitposter pointing to it).

Even a caring copy-paste reply would be great if not in your profile or pinned post.

I do appreciate this is a longer post (hence the CW) but the list below is some more things to look out for and see it seems to make sense to keep happening over and over until you act...!

🔴❓ USING NICKNAMES INVALIDATES PEOPLE? ❓
People have said the banner or username IS a big part of deciding to block or not - and that is wrong especially in the virtual world.

I respect #shitposters that they simply say things / show it or can do writing of another kind.

❓ BUT I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR YOU OR EVERYONE ❓

Some people think quick time and to rush around is not doing bad work. It can actually maintain it.

Judging people by your bad use f time when they actually have plenty of time to dump in #USPol hastags investing in people- is quite telling of what people contribute to and keep spinning. Sometimes not the positive as that takes heart and brainwork (not saying you don't have it but yeah please show it a bit more).

🔴 TO BOCK OR NOT TO BLOCK ❓
So overall if people learn block as the easy-reach and 'easy-relief' button 🔘 it can be the 'I can't challenge myself' reflection they confirm, The attitude that "I don't have time to do this (consciously or not) said I'm not doing great in this as a shortcut / a bad circle can happen and actually cutting off of the #Fediverse... doesn't actually help... or artificial seems to cover reality.

🔴 is THERE REASON FOR SOCIETIES BREAKDOWN FOR SO LONG AND SO CONSISTENTLY... ❓

Usually there is a reason (ans when less reason it's usually clear) so to embrace there IS a reason here and why it's at your post can be good.

It's also because society is quite boring or less-cultured day by day (sterilization) that means others don't feel others anymore (yeah imagine!)
Many just care in another way or don't know... (yes bless us all we feel and we often don't know everything so that's what we can help with).

🔴 CAREFUL OF EXCUSES ❗
Once people are saying to each other they

➡️ or don't want to invest in _actual people_
➡️ or because in their mind 'this might be a waste of my time'

➡️ "I can't see the point of this right now" -

then it becomes bad practice measurably and increasingly like a false-positive for blocking #email when people are less satisfied with that from everyone - too easy to block.

MUCH like commercial filters for #emails, people can label almost everything eventually as "spam" and condemn / diminish everything by nature of that attitude - it practically becomes that...

Imagine how easily people say the word spam as many generations don't even understand it and incorrectly understanding even without anothers commenting in reply anything.

💡 I.E. It's all just "spam" when unwanted BUT that is not quite the same as how it was sent out to you.

🔴 WHY AM I WRITING THIS AGAIN?
Good to say "some of this is for me" and also because I've seen people coming from a misdiagnoses and uncertain blocks and hope for better experienced.

After experiencing it myself from almost nothing / innocently - short or long in response - I actually still don't know why... and after a while that will get to you and honestly can see why a responsive dark side can be better than good-guy silent blockers. Neither is ideal.

When society does that kind of black-marking / hidden judgement, it makes you think more darker each time and probably the root of all these movies and comic book stories of hero's AND villains (often the same-similar story but on other side in un-ideal #society).

I mean really imagine society is still backwards and judgemental for really good people (perhaps even more doubtful for them, even kill them). I can see it so clearly and measure it that too much itself it affects people.

On top imagine we're all recovering from a lot of oppression / repression or bad work from history so it's up to us to correct it.... ALL (I know it's a big task but other way around the human responsibility often shirked too long or reserved only for family and not strangers who we could build and test #friendship with - again step by step - but not near-0 on #Fediverse for example - that's just too near in-human).

Being more genuine somehow can be worse I admit it (touches too many sore points) but again worse is saying something that doesn't really matter or contest something to help increment collective intelligence and experience. (The State or Trump is surely not doing it but somehow people to stay victim there).

A kind of injustice happens basically without over-scolding anyone but the collective micro-payments of respect need active us. New things we can all imagine as people from different genders or foreign people will feeling very discriminated if their their writing style, length, banner choice, lack of clarity is not asked to be expanded on, and then naturally be assumed as bad actors after!... So this process _makes_ people as 'bad actors' after a while in same process . Names also don't help as the phenomenon is that if you call a person a terrorist for long enough then you can create it from almost any person not give the respect - popular by some #governments and it can be seen so often I consider maybe that it's part of people hype to call people names who might be yes a bit crap in many ways, but not always trolling until they have been called troll twice or more... pinning the label more than it being declared or evident from profile (you can see the replies and history so much more clearer and different nowadays to see if it's a quick crap account or actually time invested their end or just momentary moody person).

🔴 WHAT'S THE SOLUTION
ANYWAY?
IF people can declare, justify as a bit of their respect to people, say it in their bio, be more uneducated / tolerant and less incorrectly labeling others, THEN voila this will go a long way. AND THEN you can still block.

But this short-depth in life and what Capitalism is mostly teaching or compounding (cutting out the caring / no shirking emotions on either side) is what we need to do.

ARE YOU SOME KIND OF ACTIVIST / DOING #ACTIVISM?
Sounds like a big campaign but I'm by not sure it's that either - it's just happening every day subtly or not... - what's not happening ALSO COUNTS.
Imagine an abacus or counter for all those that don't respond.

I just would like to advise and advance more #communication and #friendship which is so far what history has lackes and far behind currently on #fediverse - hoping someone actually reads one day and responds "long but ok actually" - which I have experienced recently that people understand despite everything not being perfect between 2 or more sides.

🔴 HOW ELSE COULD YOU CONVINCE ME THAT ISN'T SO DRAMATIC OR JUST ABOUT YOU
Literally imagine Fediverse is like a Twitter collection of people (even if upper class) and reflection of society and it's users, just online (not all at all are 'common people' etc) but this it shows why big bad leaders can easily come in a run a shit show while others don't do much, don't trust each other actively or increment at all and click the terrorist button too quickly, call them trolls or expect to see name and passport in their privacy conscious profile - this does not make them a good actor even if it seems they are not trouble. I consider this also an un-ideal spectrum just on the other side of doing too little / lacking depth with all humans that need / demand is more as default respect.

🔴 CONCLUSION OF SORTS

➡️ Not acting attacked too easily and not taking the seat of a victim when this happening called 'contact' happens !

➡️ Not being scared of another or the human shadows part of humanity

➡️ Seeing a detailed post like this as probably something needed to boost... (also haven't seen this post elsewhere otherwise it would be valid duplication and I wouldn't have wrote it )... So my hope is, even silently some can see the sense, some can boost and even some put it on their website and remix it for future 'best practices' crediting me a bit.

➡️ It's collective effort basically - doign near-0 is almost always wrong / counter-productive to social community.

➡️ To block quickly is just as bad as exploring EVERYTHING in the unknown

➡️ Allowing someone to try something allows them room to make mistake and say they did it (often this is training ground so that's part of it).

➡️ Even if it's not full on #friendship or exploring #freedom together - I hope we do have some % of both those words - otherwise put in your profile "I'm not into friendship or freedom"

🔴 WHY AM I REPLYING
Being an 'offended' person also seems an easy danger all too common today - so we can do without incorrect an incorrect short-cut and instead of banning, to see the profile or invest in the merits and positives - honestly I've tested so-called shitposters and even self labelled people and in their own way have genius or uniqueness which you can orbit a bit without being all it.

➡️ Labeling people as spam or yourself as a victim - so quickly can be wrong...

➡️ The truth is hard all round and often un-resolvable (like computer people might naturally not be caring about people which is why they defer to machines so much but then complain about society being fill of machines or #Matrix mentality they are building!

➡️ Stereotypes - After some genuine experience living with programmers or stereotypes of many kinds - there is always some truth or experience there - difficult to see inside what someone what they mean in what they mentioned but blocking makes society subtlety bad / dysfunctional without dealing with it -
- just needs a bit more time and better interpretation
- being clear in profile (how many people write things in their profile more than 3 lines and think that less is more readnig another person's?

SURE less is 'more' (I.E. easier to ignore / less clear / less likely to help those in future to learn from you and your longer profile or pinned post : ).

#Suggestion could be to add a "why are you blocking?" to allow others to see the pattern or reason (and learn from it).

If you block someone half-questionable then how do they learn or provide you that extra info that totally changes the picture you had... like I understand it "who is this person, why don't they put name and passport online if they don't have anything to hide? etc" - all presumptions or presumed etiquette that shoots one in the foot if can't negotiate a bit...

MY COMMENT: While not a very offending attitude, it can show shards of light about even using what people care about to block people pre-emptively and this is not uncommon to the increasing modern style of slowely censoring those in your class, or favour, or testing of intellect (don't mean you Hot Potato).

Overall I'd give a bit more time than less and advise anyone on any 'Social' platform that's what they could be there for and participate in - we have near lost it outside and in person so that is why I'm writing - it's one of the last places or ways left.. and feels like even the enlightened can be guilty or lack integrating others and actually incrementing the the trust or care if anything - not just writing about it.

Lately I've had a few good posts about why #systems are failing and missing out the humans themselves. A few post titles are below and short points first.

TLDR:
➡️ User-to-User interaction and progress needed on any network else people stay weak
➡️ personal contact / match-making of some kind needed by individuals and dedicated ppl
➡️ encouraging closer relativity / mutuality and from that projects naturally...
➡️ mutual growing people is essential for wider society, skills and mindset
➡️ not just growing machines!
(that is the way to Matrix!)

Who's ready to build and build with trust? We need to work with those that can actually start and increase, and respond to reason better. Not waiting for history to repeat itself.

These post are so deliciously close to the Holy Grail of togetherness or solving things... saying what needs doing and growing people is the way forward.
Others growing others mean:
#informal apprenticeship /
#better #examples of each other etc.

But also practically giving ourselves more hints what to do each day or with each other (2 main branches) rather than default "job" and statesmen and middle-people in between who ultimately ruin / misuse it all.

My experience is that even fans or mutual appreciators don't seem to be able to get past a certain level and currently paranoia or "I'm busy" excuses happens (until people see how they can use others) but overall it's about how we all work for each other by building each other up and eventually doing more, especially as all the while communication improves (#1 solution to many things I think).

It's about motivation and enjoyment to from that and then suddenly people are not as busy because they make it part of their life.

As usual I write more which I believe Freemo helps shorten for people.

I see the potential from other admins (who generally are more clever / multi-talented / able to multi-task) and users (who can
rrbe better or are clever in-the-waiting) to not miss the obvious point of social improvement but being / living in more of a two-way action and more 'manually' and deliberately doing it each day - it's not any system

Beyond messaging, Automatic things systems cannot do what human need after ability to contact and see each other's profile and work.

So even if it's looking a 1 profile a week more closely and trying to work with them / help or having a broader spectrum of open-access with other... Then slowly but surely real work (people change) happens.

From #KeyboardWarriors to #Techies to #Carers all people are already doing something we might want to be part of or integrate / bridge together - and as a mix of people we're superior to just floating individual having mostly non-dedicated parts of life and one-way / one-message interaction as a way to get away from outside life that I think all this post helps get better inside and out.

"Improving user-to-user interaction" is the main work.

We can do as a main part of 'working' socially which traditionally isn't what today's #Capitalist "jobs" do..

(because "jobs" are more narrow fields / definitions / contracts of work towards profit mainly and at the cost of everything else almost along the way - including emptying the human they use like a battery at the end).

Deliberately-socially messaging has benefits which I think people themselves/admins are not doing because others are not doing it (and once people do it I believe they will or can be tested!). I believe people love to see progress in themselves and others and doing it gives others the power / potential to help fix things instead of stay victim (which is what you see a lot of posts about, powerless).

Everything in their life can be fixed but has to come from this slowly but surely approach while improving friendship or respect (even from afar, lower level to high and vice-versa).

The people work is social change and like human resources we have it largely unused online as I see it. So while it's not for everyone here
THERE IS PLENTY OF PEOPLE

and from those 'peer-to-peer- type post titles mentioned at the start I'd like to ask #Freemo about this more as I see him as a potential Captain of the football team because basically he's solid enough already which we all need as leader or moderator and so often on the mark.

He has a sense of morality when even if you wouldn't agree you'd thank him for being far clearer, less emotionally capsizing, and more transparent than the other 'leaders' we see currently everywhere.

So #Freemo does seem to do this work often anyway even if it's a small way and I feel people leave better from conversation and do come back again too (supply and demand!...) so why not this as a part-time thing or helping me to do it with his advice?

Points welcome even if it seems too dreamy... it seems totally doable even if slow-burn...

➡️ People don't understand #email to start with, so an analogy to try explain something else doesn't #help / makes it worse / more unclear.

➡️ #decentralization is still a fairly new word that needs proper explaining itself - it's a bit unclear / murky who owns #computer, what is it as level etc - it needs a basic-shape or diagram to explain it for various things as a kind of template.

But Fediverse it is lacking the fan or financial 'department' or people that can help others day to day- which is largely comes from people investing in others

Also respecting money makes this go around and doing that better is something - and is currently ignored and even shunned WHILE people only do money or nothing transactions here on serious level.

I'm against money truly (terrible material) but more and more I respect spreading the load to people as other people CAN do money for them and better than I could (hardly at all)- so we need some 'advertising' people and almost #enshitification with polar opposite while keeping it people orientated... else there's hardly a magnet here 🧲

So for all the open source- still ALL #systems miss people the $individual who will even work for free so we need a better #system and yes not just $ystem - and better focused people (I've given up on general folk now)
