@claromes I like the idea that for an RSS reader you can visit one website to get what you want without any extensions and it's saved in the browser, mostly because of how industry can suddenly render many extensions or browser itself in jeopardy or near-extint by switching the extensions or some other way to glitch it all or say no to what is amazing, so some work and some don't... something about that basic browser window makes it "browser proof" and falls into "longevity" rather than "oh this was amazing 2 years ago and now they changed it"

This is considering if both were the same functionally, I guess you'd take the non-extension one probably right if implementation wasn't too offending?

Obsessions of 'Latest and Greatest' and continual "Upgrading" is not unhealthy / has it's limits / can be without logic other than consumerism and parts of "nothing else better to do" than play with this electronic box constantly.

@cainmark Unfortunately not as easy as your own intentions might me so so get ready for educating non-violent people (as they / you are the ones being economically milked to provide for the violence, unfortunately).

It's NOT the classic someone going around your village or town beating you, it's siphoning your tax money to supply it to people addicted to war to make the normal layer of your life happen (and "steal" your blindly-given money at the same time)... so normal people indirectly are the source from money to banks and government who misspend and pocket it.

Not shitting on this picture, it's a nice thing, but reality got clever and from mixing tax or other middle-mechanisms with other stuff the rest goes to shit (but still usually they pay themselves or misspend even for good stuff which is why hospitals (doctors), schools (teachers), police (guards) etc all are regularly protesting or unpaid or work double etc etc...

THE ANSWER? As "FreeSchool" I always attempt answer and can continue talking about this if wanted..

The answer is STOP BEING VIOLENT TO YOURSELF!
(which translated means:

- you allow people to take advantage of you physically (over working, not standing for right, not changing things at work, keeping your head down which you see injustice)

- you don't care where your taxes go (it's hard but needs to be separated or receipts given if going to buy bombs or help other countries using your tax money and massive %'s from everyone)

- economic extraction and transfer to violence in many / all ways (from banks 🏦 loans, mortgages, etc and governments not knowing what other department is doing / compartmentalisation)... SO YOU HAVE TO TAKE CHARGE / MANAGE THE MONEY BETTER since others can't (leaving it in account doesn't help / spending on crap doesn't help)

- etc... if you read this boost or message me....

Really easy and minimal to see, manoeuvre and manage.

Am I right that every Linux system/server can do the same and everything else for files publicly is on top of this as a kind of a fancy layer / GUI?

I've tried to say to people why this 'Year 2000' way is actually best for most cases or personal usage and if Debian and whole to of other folks still do it (and know what they are doing) then it's just "upgradism" mostly to go for more XYZ since for most purposes it's enough AND people measurably don't want added bells and whistles and slow interface *this works* and FAST!...

I think you can even directories passworded right if you really wanted / needed ?

Can you say more on that as for a long time I wanted to do the same with little added to what seems to exist more bare, for storing podcast audio or whatever files like this. Seems a perfect way and no other software needed, right?

It's "what you see is what you get" WYSIWYG way (at your side you make a change AND over the internet the change is instant... you cam rename a file with a client and it's instant- so simple.
Change it locally in your files or server and it's instant right?

Experts deep in 1 rabbit holes are not good and not bringing the mass with them as part of their daily "conversion" or result...

No amount of money or knowledge or invention will help if it's on it's own.

The users / people are the weak link... look how they use the internet for example...

So all that from ground-up or expert-down needs better aligned to use the abilities from all the pyramid of people / hierarchy (and use their interests) so movements can / should grow better and more fully so it's not shallow expertise...

Short work are like short-cuts and cut out the stuff lesser-gods needed in human learning / balance (even the unwanted emotional stuff dealt with more people to accept everyone's learning or has levels).... but not to cut them off or isolate them.

Yes you can have certain levels but the price / gate is often too high to jump just to get in!

That's no good for movements to grow...

I think someone 'should' write about this long-form or 'wall of text' phenomenon (I've had people call me names and judge even without reading ANY of it purely as mass-of-text visual allergy!!

So we need 1 writing that "splains it" to even the experts that are mono-working and losing broadness by going deep in 1 rabbit holes and not bringing the mass with them as part of their daily "conversion" or result...
