@fletchpj Like I've said, we need AI art feeding directly to 3d printers.

@Xna_NaJu @academicchatter @academicalnerd @academicsunite @academicworld We'll go down that road for a while, then there will be a shift. Right now, all funding is by 'challenged' people who do not want any disruption to their power structure. If a funded study doesn't come to the conclusions they want, then they narrow the scope.

@MrsDi @edutooters Yeah, it reminds me of our great shift in engineering from slide rules to calculators. :)

**Ukrainians get full Nato kit** And a full sound system! Ok, cut the crap, this is a full Nato operation, sans the jets, and nuclear artillery shells. :) Poots has started a massive production of conventional weapons, which were languishing before, because we couldn't get such cute photos. :)

**Anybody see the recession yet?** 'Money physics' is the study of fundamental forces. I'm beginning to think that if everybody and their dog thinks a recession is coming, then it won't, because they are all preparing for it. Big recessions are a surprise. I also think the 'post covid' industrial rush will flood us with cheap goods by the summer. Look at Tesla! Single burner induction plates are flooding us right now. They have thermal sensors. Cooktops are flooding at $500 but with no sensors. Right now, thermal sensors for a cooktop add $2000 to the price, when it is only a 10 buck addition. We'll see the effect soon. Cheap cars will soon flood us when they finally get the chips, any day now. Only the house speculators will suffer and they are mostly foreign.

**Musk goes for the 'Stupidity Defense'** This always works for old white males, but never for the females. And that young bitcoin guy is using it too, but no chance.

**Poop Cabbage** Physics tells us that the root membranes are effectively 'Reverse Osmosis Filters' Nothing gets by them. At our cottage (summer hut) we have a compost toilet and all the compost goes to growing 'Poop Potatoes'. I have this huge thermal compost bin in the back and it's hot even in the winter. I put all the dog poop in it. However, I also put in Miraclegro for the nitrogen. The physics error in the article is that there is not enough natural fixed nitrogen in the world to feed us.

**Pacific storm hits Alaska** These are very fast, and impossible to track, part time. Some new ones have formed.

**Doctors hit new low in power games**
They are going to litter my Scotch bottles with warnings -- **"Even a drop of this good stuff will make you die of cancer, so if you drink this, you might as well finish with a cigar."**

@cmclase I think we have to leave this to history. All the big epidemics were stopped by engineering and physics. We were wallowing in sh*t, for cholera and such. Now, we've been wallowing in sh*t for indoor air quality, and it has caught up with us.
The big mistake this time was that biologists were in control and loved their power trip. Any physics done on masks was done by biology-types. Again, we wait for history, and we are too much into the power games right now, to argue further. I'm taking a new vaccine every few months - that's biology in charge. :)

@cmclase Fine, thanks for responding. I find that physics that is not done, is deliberately not done. Are you going to say the the epidemic in China would be 10 times worse without everyone wearing a mask?

@cmclase Although I never argue with public policy, the mask thing has no physics. Covid evolved to skirt masks and go straight for the eyes. No physics, or evolutionary physics was done. The only studies were with uncovered coughs, and without a mask, everybody covers their coughs. With a mask, why bother? I have also found that the electrostatic fibers are instantly neutralized with moisture. All in all, by the millions, masks are useless. I think everybody wearing 'bono glasses' (wrap around) would be more effective. Anyway, I got covid 3 times, and always in very close situations, parties with people shouting and running around. I wish I had worn glasses....

@freemo Oh, can we start a "I was poorer than you." contest?

@rastinza That's a sad story. We can all our tomatoes and the supply lasts for the year, unless our kids come to visit.

@LouisIngenthron It's a funny story that I was once a Vine reviewer for Amazon in Canada. This turned out to be a bit of a tax thing, and they quickly shut it down.

ps. I have found that temperature control on 30 inch cooktops is exotic. I have to wait another year....

@pwinn I added a caption but it doesn't show in the toot.

**Calicanes are in stealth mode** On the standard satellite shot, these look like atmospheric rivers, not Atlantic hurricanes. That's because they are 'cold-driven' and do not exist in the standard vocabulary. I am amazed.
