**Life is tough in tourist-land** We are really slow in getting up to speed for our own tourism. My relatives are keeping it up, but no place I would visit.

**Puppy demand drops** We had covid and everybody had million-dollar houses and wanted puppies. Huge prices were paid for both. Now, the party is over. No puppies have been hurt in the making of this post.

#physics #weather **Atlantic plumes drift down again** The Gulf Stream has had an 'up and down' moment. Those Atlantic plumes are on a path downward. That gives the only winter warmth to the UK. The plumes are fighting a big cold air blob from Siberia, which has a perfect arcuate front. All is at a standstill.
