Damn, getting out of my comfort zone here as an introvert.

We had to bring a bunch of equipment to another building and I saw in a room there a huge professional green screen setup. I was kinda in awe. The green screen setup we have in this classroom is amateur at best, so...

Coworkers told me who managed that studio. So I sent him an email with that I'd like to take a closer look at the studio sometime, and if I could maybe see someday how everything works over there?

Definitely out of my comfort zone here.

Wow, I should've bought some popcorn shares. Draaamaaaa!

I probably should avoid the Fediverse for today. :P

Gosh what a punishment to have to clean stuff. Outdoors. With a water hose. In this bloody hot weather.

I think I like the new Steam game overlay... The notes feature might be handy, and it's also nice how you can pin any window in the overlay and it'll show up in the game when you leave the overlay. Nice for playing a movie in the corner or to have some notes visible during gameplay.

The overview of everything's also a vast improvement over the old UI. Easier to spot whatever with those handy buttons, much more user friendly. It's some little getting used to but I think it's a big improvement.

Neighbours continued working on their extension. I asked my neighbour a few questions about the design and roofing, he showed me a picture. Looks pretty nice at their end. Tight wooden design, very modern. At my side I'll just see big black plates as walls.

He asked if I wanted the fence to stay (which covers a fairly large part of the new wall). I said yes, so it's not going to be one vast blackness at my side. I guess it might be less work for him too, heh.

If they're going to flip out because of 'Ate Without Table -3', I'll flip out too! The table was 2 blocks away! Jeez.

Ahh, the joys of an elderly cat... drool and barf. :P

I really dislike big network printers which think they're smart and ignore your specific request to print from a certain drawer or even from the manual input. 😒

I had to go to the receptionist, told her I'm oh so desperate and that the printer hates me, and she helped me out with the printer in her office.

Meh, must have a mod conflict somewhere later on in my current colony's timeline. I'll just start afresh with the Ideology DLC enabled that I just bought. Lemme see if I can get a culty colony going.

IRL, 30 degrees is no fun. But in RimWorld I'm like to my pawns: Stop whining, just do the job already. That ain't a heatstroke!

😋

Just a friendly reminder, not all of us have the spoons or mental space to deal with US politics in all its horror (and maybe glory?).

I'm happy to use filters to curate my timeline, but when you get cute with putting asterisks in words you bypass filters. Just write the word, let us protect ourselves.

Because getting cute with partial censoring of words actually causes more harm than pretending to obfuscate a word.

I don't get it, can he or can he not work with animals? Or is this the typical internet user who loves to scroll through animal pictures with a passion but is incapable of doing anything with them? That's a shitton of browsing if he manages to get this skill up that high. 😋

Errr, I think someone's physic drone is kinda broken. I do have one android (from Android Tiers Reforged) in my colony, but its mood buff is still zero from this one. :D

Nice surprise. Guy from KPN at the door, whether I was interested in glassfiber. They were laying cables in a few months and were checking which households were interested. Well, sign me up! 😋

Burp. Haven't made burrito in such a long time and now I've made enough for 3 days. :P Just should buy creme fraiche next time, I think I do want it added after all even though it was damn tasty already.

ডাক্তার বলেছেন গরুর টাটকা দুধ পান করতে 😂 😂

Finally after all those years I'm making use of one of those little greenhouse boxes I have.

My mother got this nice leafy plant called 'Kindje op moeders schoot' (Tolmiea menziesii), which in English has been nicknamed 'piggyback plant' because new leaves are growing on top of old leaves.

You can cut off the larger leaves and replant them. I'm going to try to make them root so I can put them in my garden and hope they can spread there. Should be great to cover the soil in the shadow-rich areas which are kinda bare right now.

At any rate, it's a very fun-looking plant.
