The hair are basically dead cells. How comes when you have a better diet they look better then? And not just from the base but the whole hair length?

Today I was talking to some people, you know, some homeopath-tarots kind of folk.
One of them said that hair are alive like branches, I said well actually it's just dead cells, and I've been asked this

In what sense was the metaphor meant to be taken?

@mkwadee Sorry, I understand it's a metaphor, but the fact is just false.
Beside the trees that grow slow but do not produce any fruit, such as gingko, in the fruit realm you have a lot of pretty nice fruit produced by fast growing trees such as papaya, pomegranate etc.

If you mean to say that in the same species, for example if you have 10 apple trees, the slow growing one will beat better fruit again, not true. If it's growing slow something is holding it down (bad genes, lack of water, lack of light...), and it will likely yield less.

I'm relaxed about it, though, a lot of people applied, the chances of getting hired are significantly low.

@imvectech Yeah but I mean, there are search engines that are there just to do that, find you the research articles for whatever subject you wish. What's the point of maintaining a page just for one aspect? I mean just for glyphosate you have over 300k results on google scholar, why manually put them all on a page (considering also that it's growing quite quickly)?

@imvectech You mean, share any research existent on glyphosate and phychemicals? Why not just search for it on pubmed, sciencedirect google scholar or something?
