@design_RG That is the problem, I can't seem to do it. This is an example, if you try to access here can you get a link just to that single image that is in the folder, and not to the whole folder?

@selea How do you do that as guest? I know I can do it as person with an account, but if I just get into a shared folder, with edit and download permission, I don't see how to do it.

There is a "share" option with the right click, but it does nothing

Can anyone help me with #nextcloud ?
When I share a folder with others (they do not have an account) is there a way for them to get a link to a specific file in that folder? For example, they upload a pic and want to get a link to that pic only

@khird Oh yes, we could use Talk too, I'm not too familiar with it so I haven't thought about it

@freemo I'm not sure this feature creep is beneficial to the network, I wouldn't want to overload us.
In case we want to proceed, Matrix is surely the protocol closest to the intentions and the spirit of the instance (federated, s2s, FOSS etc). It should support voice with jitsi. If we want to go the easy way sure, a discord server is just a 5 minutes work.

@jasper I watched 10 minutes so far. I don't like how he keeps quoting EP like it's one body of poeple "the EPs say this, think that...", it's like saying "biologist think that".

I think Miller has a better understanding of sexual selection than many. I haven't read anything that sounded weird, and the book mentioned in this video, the one from Futuyma, was my evolution textbook, I kinda had to learn it by heart =D

I also feel there are some drawbacks to EP, specifically the difficulty in testing the hypothesis, and sometimes the lack of compared psychology studies with other primates, but AFAIK they are being worked on

Yeah it's been kind of a recent entry in the rules. You can still silence him, me or whoever you like, but blocking us makes our work as mods impossible, you can easily see why I hope.
