So I watched the 70's movie Dolomite yesterday. My god it was sooooo awful, but somehow I enjoyed it anyway.
Made about a weeks worth of vegetable juice, i bought way too many veggies so had to use them up anyway. Its mostly beets and carrots with a hint of celery, watercress and parsley.

I was traveling and getting setup in my USA home, so I put this topic on hold. No actual decision was made.
Now that I'm situated I want to come back to this as well as hear your input. I'd rather avoid silencing... perhaps an interim option is to create a "suggested block list" that we offer to users and encourage them to block those instances, of their own choice, and detail the reasons, leave it up to them.
Then maybe I can implement a feature where the suggested blocklist is automatically applied to users accounts by default but they can select to opt out as they wish.
The problem has continued, and has gotten worse, so I dont think the instances that have done nothing in response should just be ignored. Thankfully most of the instances contacted were all quick to resolve the issue on their end.
I can start a discourse topic to discuss.
I will update everyone effected as a decision is reached, but for now letting those involved know that no silence has been enacted yet.

I feel like I need to start making and keeping roux in the house for more recipies.. Brown roux is sooooo good in anything with rice.
The spice store I bought from has high-gluten flour! I'm excited about this, should be healthier.
Pretty happy with todays haul from the nut and spice shop. I have so much cooking to do tomorrow.
I have a weird hankering to watch the Dolemite movie from the 70s.. I was born in the early 80's and sometimes stuff from around that time gives me an intense feeling of nostalgia even though it was almost 10 years earlier.

Had a fresh jack fruit for the first timr in my life. It has been only to do for a while.. took a minute to figure out you cant just bite into it like a watermelon, lol. It was really nice a bit too dry and sweet for my tastes but filling and delicious all the same. It has these little pods of flesh you eat. Has to be the densest fruit ive ever eaten.
WOOT! My gigabit internet just got activated, yes you heard that right, GIGAbit mother fucking internet... I have a fiber optic line coming direct into my home. After a year in the netherlands with shotty internet this is a very welcome change.
I guess that means I need to upgrade my internal network to 10GBe LAN now :)

I wiped my desktop computer and doing a complete reinstall. I figure it would be easier than updating after a year abroad plus I wanted to move from a 2 drive raid 0 to a 3 drive raid 5.. Extra space, extra speed.. and these are the fastest possible NVMe drives using M.2 so RW speed on this thing is going to be INSANE!
Its nice to be back home and on my computer with 64 gigs of superfast memory and 32 cpu cores :) I forgot how big a difference it can make
