@TruthSandwich if a barrel is less than 16 inches it cant have a butt stock which you use to stabilize the gun when you aim.

@freemo Suppressors are like the one firearms related thing that’s less regulated in most of Europe compared to the USA. I love shooting my .22LR pistol suppressed, you almost only hear the action working and a little “puff”. For my long range bolt gun I prefer a muzzle brake (and double hearing protection) to minimize recoil.
Honestly while there are plenty reasons to be concerned with what #Threads might do the biggest immediate concern for me personally is just if they are going to spam ads at me by having bot accounts that push spam to me in my mentions.... that would be a nightmare!
Digging this Fraktur capitals exemplar... I think ill practice it with some high-sheen ink :)

The first light bulb filaments were carbon. I'm sure they did exactly what you did and thought, "Gee, that lit up the whole room. If we could only keep it going."
Thus the vacuum bulb to keep oxygen from burning it up.

Just a reminder, the Democrats, who have largely exclusively pushed for gun laws, have given us the following mess:
Guns must cause ear damage -- devices which lower the sound to just below the threshold of causing ear damage are illegal.
Guns with barrels less than 16" must be designed in a way that they are extra hard to aim, making it a much higher risk that you will shoot someone accidentally... Only guns longer than 16" can be easy to aim.
Yet somehow people are baffled when I say the democrats have largely done more harm to the topic of gun control than good... every time they propose or pass a law it is complete nonsensical, largely because they dont even bother to under the very thing they want to legislate.

@Biggles Well no arguments there... the difference is when it is part of group-think, done in unison, and clearly ideologically gated its a very different thing.... nearly all of the extreme-left rejected science en masse to the same tune, much as the extreme right did... the center when it happens it is on a very individual basis and not something that manifests such consistent patterns along party lines.
The problem with covid wasnt simply about early on opinions, it was more about contrarianism.. Anything, and I mean anything, the right formed as an opinion the left had to reject, and violently fight against.. I mean hell I saw more than a few lefties get into fist fights over COVID nonsense with righties.
