Stealing vs. Foraging / Accumilating (Natural insticts) 

The title of the post shows the similarities of stealing and foraging. Both have in their actions what we basically all do: 'bring, take, get, collect, pile up'... something under different and for ourselves or others, near and far.

The morality is different for stealing but much of it the the same in life (as uncomfortable as that sounds!) when it's for yourself or family (or government using everyone's money to wage / 🏦 paying for wars elsewhere / military industrial complex / etc).

This post outlines a tone showing it's the environment mainly that determines if actions are bad or good (which people can deliberately setup as the overall good or bad shell). So what defines if you are stealing for me?

➡️ Stealing if existing system is about scarcity / not loving people (then lead people to steal in some form (legally formed stealing company or state or other stealing from people).

Often both people and / resources are "moved" elsewhere!)

or

➡️ foraging (if existing system is about growing people AND PLANET not cut-throat profit-priority TAKING AWAY EVERYTHING forcing people / steal with $tates).

To forage is where a previous or two have made it a priority to preserve and ADD things for people in the future to forage (trees, bushes, water pools, lead a simple life of fetching things rather than convert it to money-using objects etc).

A BETTER 'EFFICIENCY' WORKING WITH PEOPLE EVEN "STEALERS"??

I think you can use each other better to do more actions (I think that's what governments take advantage of in bad people) but importantly under a better environment....

:doge: Think of dogs and raising them in a fight club for dog fights or having them fed and watered while giving them options of things to fetch or people to go running with :dogcited: (people have dogs for these simple reasons sometimes).

People as a better " " (or some such term) comes into it for those that can do more and having abilities to do bit of everything. A dog that can do more, some that just like running...

The problem is about being fed and housed enough, as the basic that hold people together, so people need not feel they have to steal or forage too hard (this is a hard of and hard to bypass as some people will still do too much of even the nicest work or stab people in the back... but imagine most are nice dogs or through generational improvement could be turned from fighting dogs to much more pleasant runners. (behaviour over time / )

The is the key mostly, like epigenetics and evolution through ... IF the rich and elite could ease up A BIT the horrendous profits they take from people and spend on them instead, so we could all get along a bit more and 'steal' / forage more properly together for each other. And even enjoy the time in city, field or wherever.

A bit like the lords and estates or feudal times but as benevolent dictator. It's a big of a dream I know but we've had flavours of them all that we could just stick with. It shows we able to do it, under a whip or under an incentive or bounty.

Not easy or realistic for your tastes, with profits perhaps coming from generation of screwing people, but I see as saving us because it gives us what to do, what to get, grow, water, dig etc. Now more than ever.

Without being fed or housing (and without uncomplicated government growing things) then we revert to stealing of some kind what little is left or from other countries (wonder why continues?)...

Under nature we could find what to do... moving / stealing hay or whatever we're in. If people are in a cut-throat banking system then stealing on the street is a direct reflection of those barriers ( choose who and how to give money and it's VERY political - good projects don't stand a chance to get funding / startup finance).

My thoughts are that if you enable the bad people you can still actually get the good out of them (both willingly and as knowing each others tendencies towards if better environments can be found).

ℹ️ For example - People who steal are just good at fetching things and accumulating (the basis of almost all work, legit or not)

Yes it is wrong is some sense but the actions can be seen simply as "bring and get"...

If it's all about pubs on Friday as an environment (and for get the tax boost on the weekends) then it's only going to lead to a mess and poor .

So if you can feed people enough (so they don't feel their life is in danger or depressed that they need money so much) then to 'forage' instead of steal can achieved together more harmoniously somewhere.

We all need a bit of thrill, adventure, physical exercise working with people occasionally, feel part of a unit etc...

I admit this is today with the overall crimes of the past (Governments are robbers themselves) then it's hard not to call anybody bad who works for them (we are all paying them as money 'disappears' or sorry 'we don't have enough and have to steal from this other pot, again'.

You always have to watch out for back-stabber but mostly if fed and housed people will do small and big work... Its true fed and housed is not priority of most (they rather change with companies and reap/rape the profit) but this is another 'overall problem' or Meta problem that people have to understand.

Yes there are people that steal for kicks and just to hoard stuff.

No there are people that steal because there is nothing else to do, or literally is similar in morality as working in a call centre for an insurance company or bank.

I feel like Short-text / Short-reading by people directly undervalues people and longer understanding - it's cutting corners reading only short things and proportionally killing the planet / cutting people who write more off.

That's why I'd like to do audio conversation now... (anytime) so we don't get stuck in the text realm either and just speak lightly in the ethereal / spirit of life.

People are the depth and action of the culture so if text is not deep enough then culture dies. Audio conversation I have can put back the reality into people.

Just sticking to yourself dosn't work. We can solve almost everything as our efforts can double if we are relaxed but do it constantly over tiem... it's OK "it's all political" (!) and our opinions too... so letting go too far into "Politics" of "Leaders" is not the way we want to go... as a system (of control)

Your decisions can be made and changed doing short depth + short depth (=long!) which can reinforce those bad things less by seeing the depth in tricks (like chess it's "aha! I realise why they made that move now") .

Don't let "Short-ism" make you think it works for you (it's the opposite). Communicate more and build normal people up. - Increase more and but socialising incrementally like at a party.

The 'human condition' needs A HUMAN WAY OF FIXING THINGS in a social-communal situation... not a ultra-tech way.
We have and etc - we just need to increase trust step by step and measure ourselves as we go.

The Free School movement I feel is "the best way" for people as a transient flexible "school" of fish / people in life because it's YOUR way and your likes mixed in however you want guided by others in the same class or other t give another perspective..

As long as you trust yourself and trust a few others more while measuring while mixing, then it's all good and essential can't be bad - especially from these distances.

Opposite of the above would be: working isolated in a loop... without encouraging contact ...working for bad people / state
...while not giving back or seeing what others have to give
...and reading the news in a bad loop as I do (and need your help to get out of!) ... only to complain about my adding to it.

So feeding yourself better comes building others in trust and people upwards not downwards pushing. Therefore:

So while we pretend to be '' (which doesn't exist or very lightly does) I think we can truly undo things 1 at a time or just by not using things too much like etc.

Those who feed from (from the people behind it) surely will mess up again and see less and less gains over time). Short-term some AI benefit but long term chained-to-machine type stuff and robots judging us (robots are just people / leaders behind it controlling..)

Consider *developing people* (or just me) at the same time in your work also - not just machine code, but people are the KEY to everything almost FOREMOST...

Professor L. Randall Wray, discussing the origin of money, which forms the foundational conception of money in Modern Monetary Theory. The usual origin story for money as given by economists is that humans began by bartering in markets, but that this was difficult because of the "double coincidence of wants" problem: I have to have something you want and you have to have something I want, right now, or else we can't trade.

From this, a medium of exchange is selected by an evolutionary process, beginning with seashells and beads, and eventually settling on gold.

Then, the story goes, people discover that gold is sort of burdensome to carry and difficult to protect, so they arrange to keep it with the village goldsmith. The goldsmith hands out receipts, and people realize that these receipts can be used as money in place of the gold. This is, supposedly the beginning of paper money. Then the goldsmith realizes that not everybody will come to claim their gold on the same day, so the goldsmith can create receipts from thin air and spend or lend them as money. This is, supposedly, the origin of bank lending, or credit money.

The biggest problem with this story is that there's no historical evidence for it whatsoever, nor do we observe barter-based markets today within the tribal societies that are still around. The reason is obvious: if you're living in a small tribe, you know everybody. You don't need exact, proportional, spot-trade equivalence of the kind used in barter if you're doing all of your business with your cousin, or your neighbor. In practice, we find that these kinds of societies arrange themselves along informal credit relations: I'll help you out a bit here, then you'll help me out with something else later.

This is problematic for the barter story because it doesn't involve quantitative relations, ie. there are no prices. When you are engaged in repeated informal credit with your cousin, you don't need to keep track of exactly who owes whom how much, nor what kind of goods are exactly equivalent to other goods.

The time when you DO want exact proportional equivalence is during punishment for crimes. This is the ancient tribal tradition of "weregild," or "man price," in which tribal societies would draw up detailed codes of law specifying fines imposed for specific crimes. Without these kinds of legitimated official punishments, violence would tend to cycle into blood feuds. Weregild is instituted in tribal societies to stop the blood feuds and revenge cycles.

So while exchange of goods for daily subsistence involved no prices, these lengthy schedules of fines would have exact, detailed prices for everything to be found in the village, to tell you what sort of payment would absolve you of your crimes. If the prices weren't viewed as fair, then the warring families would not be satisfied and the revenge would ensue.

From these fine schedules arises naturally the concept of the "unit of account," that is, money as a social measuring unit, which is used to measure the value of things. Almost always a measure of a weight of grain, this could serve as a common basis for specifying fines. Ie. cutting off somebody's ear would require paying 50 shekels, while cutting off their nose would require 70 shekels, etc, which a detailed listing of how many shekels a chicken was worth, how many a cow was worth, etc.

Next, as societies grew larger such that not everybody knew all of their neighbors, the concept of rough credit equivalence was transformed into exact credit. That is, instead of an informal IOU between neighbors, you could record (in some form) an IOU for an exact quantity, and this IOU could be transferable. These IOUs would get denominated in the unit of account used for the schedule of fines, and connote a obligation for general value ('you owe somebody something worth 50 shekels') rather than a specific good ('you owe me 10 pigs').

And finally, the schedule of fines would be managed by some sort of authority, which today we would call "the state." Fines might have originally began as payments to the victim's family, but along the way became payments directly to the authority, for use in the "public purpose." The authority could also issue IOUs in exchange for goods, and did so. When authorities would levy these fines, they would have realized that they could require the fine to be paid in the authority's own IOU, which would create a demand for that IOU (also denominated in the unit of account). The authority would be able to spend its IOUs to anybody in the community, then that person would spend that IOU with the person who owed the fine, and finally that person would use that IOU to satisfy the fine.

Today we call these state "currency" and we carry them around in our wallets.

IF only we could gave each other something else than only money and then grow something else better between us meantime (mental and/or physical sense of the currency / it's )...

The above is the main point and from that I'm searching for something else a bit more reliable and not saying "no money" though ideally and bad war-funding people OUT.

More than giving physical shells or coins or "respect" or jewels or "nature" and land to each other... just a bit more something else which grows another mentality (like or or / anything else good at the same time as all that exists now... (I don't mean "scrap money").

So not in that extreme but some evolution that ticks a lot of boxes like that and actually proves itself utility like / has even when States have tried to block it in early days and perhaps have had to try co-opt it instead as it's own compliment to in some ways...

Maybe only a volcano or natural acids can do their thing on their own but not sure much else can... or how things be used to promote a "currency for good" ?

This is part of this post (finding a currency AND THEN trying to grow better mentality from the exchanges, rather banks that devalue or are allowed use THEIR MONEY for wars etc).

Money changes make everyone poor. And poorly exchange your life for it constantly losing it's value and utility BY DESIGN increasingly with fees %'s back-room goal post changing etc...

electricity storage and transport are very wasteful, batteries more so and aren't great. Many things just cost life purely from existing and the want by mankind to exist in a longer ways costs more (it's always DISPLACED energy and cost).

Maybe pickled gherkins in vinegar are truly lasting longer without much more needed and reliable as food (can reuse the glass and even metal top to some degree) and even drinking the diluted acid after or for cleaning things etc.
