@JonathanMBR Thank you, that's what I thought. For a big company they could've built a better house indeed.
@thomasfuchs Kinda looks like some sort of TTY to me.
Game giveaway Brigador: Up-Armored Deluxe on GOG.
Looks like it involves lots of mechs and pewpews and badabooms.
Every time SolarWinds is mentioned, I get reminded of the old DOS RPG space game Solar Winds which was released in 1993. It was a fun game and a fresh genre to me back then.

I hope Steam will have some cool meta game event going this winter sale, which is supposed to start this evening. Some of the events in the past were kind of amusing, and it's something to waste time on.

@shpuld Damn yeah, what a doofus.
@JonathanMBR I assume Safaricom is a pretty large company, right? So... I feel kinda underwhelmed by the kind of house they built, or is this a normal house for the area?
I'm speaking this from my point of view as a first world westerner. So I don't know if I'm being ridiculous here or not.

My favorite roguelike might be ADOM, I've played it before it even hit Steam, a really long time ago in all its ASCII glory. :) Heck I still switch to ASCII-mode when I go play it, I'm just used to that and it's faster for me to process! :D
But I've also tried out others like Cogmind and Caves of Qud and a bunch more. I think I'd play Cogmind a lot more if it could be scaled better. Caves of Qud I still need to delve into deeper, but I did have some fun roaming around and getting into deep caves (and ultimately get killed).
A non-Steam one I like is Elona, it is a very quirky originally-Japanese RPG-roguelike hybrid. Can recommend Elona+ if you want to give it a go, it's free to download and play.
Card battle games, my favorite is probably Slay the Spire (Which I consider a Roguelike Card Game) and Star Realms, but there are other close contenders. Recently I got into Ascension again and am playing the heck out of that one now. System Crash is a hidden gem that I acquired recently and still need to get into.
Since Slay the Spire entered the gaming world, more card battle games in that style are popping up. Blood Card and Fate Hunters come to mind. They're pretty decent, but not as smooth yet as StS, but I had some fun playing them.
But besides those, I can also enjoy Magic the Gathering, or simpler card games like Crunch Time!, and Love Letters. On my phone I play Hot Death Uno, but also Klaverjassen and Cribbage. Really, almost anything goes. :D
Monster Train happens to be in my wishlist. 100% Orange Juice I've played a few times, it's a funny board/card game, but it's not luring me in enough to really play it. I should give it a spin again sometime.

@mur2501 I bet there's plenty of frogs around here. I'm just not sitting along the water anymore to go take a peek. ;) And crabs are around as well. In fact, the other day I've read an article that there are some crabs roaming around somewhere in the middle of the country, not close to any body of water. Kinda funny.
@mur2501 It is saying 'Be Silent, JaJa!!!' :P
@mur2501 Oh hey, I know what that bird is saying!
@brettgilio@mstdn.social Ahhh.. well, who listens to them anyway? ;)
I've never quite understood that sentiment either. I'm suspecting they simply don't know the difference between socialism and communism. Everything that's slightly left of capitalism is already communism in their books I've got the impression.
@progo I kinda like it. ;)

This one is now a backup account, my activities on Qoto will be low.

Used to be on another mastodon server regularly, but it's been inaccessible since November 2020. So I've decided to join Qoto instead! I like the features this server has to offer.
