One problem fixed, another crops up...

So while that last fix did make things better, there seems to be a bit of lingering slowness for a few things, but things are mostly working.

I worked all day(and its midnight now) to bring up some very extensive monitoring tools for the team for us to help diagnose the issue.

I will work through the weekend to help improve things further, though I may need to get some sleep before I can fully resolve this. At least things are working other than a slight bit of lag. I will keep everyone on #QOTO updated.

Toxic Admins of Fediverse instances can cause more problematic situations and insult people with their ignorances, paranoia or short replies.

For example: Accusing my innocent attempts too early of xyz or too wildly reacting without much reasoning to back it up.

I mean WFT sometimes - I wonder how they do so well with other people but have to conclude it's like they think they know others or profile seems to fit better (or others don't ask questions AND lack any depth and so don't bother anyone).

People trust maybe the meme and non-serious type things from others. So strange. Not fun perhaps so it's more the comedy cathartic stuff with their computer-only life style.

When support is not just computers or money, and more talking to people then what people are looking for will happen more often (for them and what they say they want, not just me).

And probably running a tight instance (kinda sole authority and captain) means you can get away with it. So being good in that way helps but maybe more 'benevolent dictator' style if not feeling the need to interact with others though I only contact those that are that good and for the good - so it's a constant awakening of how much further we have to go to accept other people in whatever strangeness (friend you haven't met yet) from Fedi (which I think is measurably much safer >70-99% are pure gold people) and not something we can't see from posts and interactions.

Actually staying constructive or just progressive-neutral would be better, instead of over-exposing their fears (feeding it too to others) and suppressing people while wasting their own time replying (and sometimes claiming their busy to reply) while a bunch of memes are spread and real talk not read - #QOTO is not included in this but support has to become more human and trusting profiles can be a start to snowball trust - or just not over-think things).

@eriner who I respect(ed - (now less) but smelled me as a corporate journalist somehow from contacting him just because of some yes / no questions and even explaining... but will not even read 1 paragraph of my profile (even if it's a wall of text) to find about more about me. Just reading a bit would do to answer his question / doubts
or... JUST NOT BE THE WAY THINGS START AND END!.

It stops conversation dead after leaving it VERY unjust / negative experience. I really have to stop the injustice / hate filled feeling in it's place or even just medium insult after hopes of 'finding a good person' again go down the toilet 🚽 and avoid thinking too much about forcibly getting some respect or progress. It is hard when people don't play fair / nice.

Anyway I'm sure this is how enemies are created so mention it. If it was face to face maybe they wouldn't get away with it so easily (negativity can be done too easily). It's definitely not all about me here, after our own admin sets good example, and I might not even have to be in the equation so heavily or at all to respond practically or without such paranoia - Am I going to tell you I'm a corporate journalist anyway Eric?
So a lot of stuff is being sent out already so it's strange to ask or doubt AND broadcast you're whole life and then not even accept the answer from the good / non-harmfully intentioned guys 🤣 🤣 or even check the obvious existing content on profiles as I've been invested in for long time _0_🖕 - but really the quality of person today is low - don't expect admins to be otherwise. While do keep trying but we do have to solve working together.

@freemo good analogy, since in the household despite everyone sharing things the "ruling class" of parents has 100% of the ruling and resource distributing power and if they are bad at it the children can do nothing but suffer.
