After watching the Mandalorian I have decided that disney completely ruined Star Wars for me. It was cringe worthy the whole time.
The only good sci fi I have left to look forward to is "Picard", I hope it doesnt disappoint me!

If I did a write up explaining the difference between complex number representation of vectors vs Matrix/Linear algebra representations would anyone be interested in reading that?
I feel it would be useful to explain why and how multiplication is different between the two and why division on matrix vectors is forbidden but allowed in complex form and the repercussions of that.
Might also be useful to go into some explanation as to how to intuitively know when to use one or the other (something even i struggle with from time to time).

I never thought it very healthy how so many people make finding a SO a priority. Many of them hoping from one relationship to the next.
I have spent most of my life single. Being in a relationship was an exception I enter in reluctantly with women I fall meaningfully and deeply in love with in a mutually enriching and rewarding way.

I'm a free speech lover and I like this place to be a platform for our users to get in touch with as much as they want of the fediverse, as long as there is no **active** harassment of any of us.
The rest is up to the users and the clients, they have a lot of power in carving their own informational niche, and that one of the big reasons why AP exists in the first place.
I understand that people may not be familiar with the technology, which has never had this scale of usage, but if you want freedom and independence is it too much to ask that you just search "mastodon how to silence instance", or whatever you may need?
We as mod are also always here to answer doubts and help our users to get the best out of this place, but no, I personally would never take the arrogant decision of what is good or bad for others to be exposed to.
Please, @evaristus , if we want to talk about it in a serious way could you please open a topic on discourse? We encourage this kind of discussion and it would be easier for anyone to follow.

And also, there are so many mathematical 'tools' one should know how to use in Engineering field.
Never forget your coordinate fields and unit circle. Probably one of the most important things to know as an engineer.

I used to tel my students I was going to put a 3 or 4 foot high banner at the front of class, over blackboard. One word.

Used to call and mention it as the 'F'word. they always had chuckles, by association with the other, bad F word.
Ya know I'm really suprised Canonical JSON isnt a more widely accepted standard. I know for my uses it seems kinda important. Looks like I will need to write a python library to implement it.
Was there ever a time that referring to women as sweet confectionary was actually effective, "sugar", "baby cakes", "pumpkin pie", "sweet thing", "Honey buns", the list seems endless. I think most people would see these terms as offensive these days. Was that always the case? Why is it offensive now?
