@lupyuen Thermostat connected, but tv is not. I have a Linux box controlling the tv. Exercise tv is built-in Android. You get it cheap because it is loaded with a zillion apps that pay kick-backs. Takes an hour or two to clear them all.

**Toronto Snow** A very wet snow, and now it is getting frozen solid.

#physics **Physics of air quality** I don't have much to say, but I'm thinking that the physics here is as bad as anything else. The story is all controlled by those who have skin in the game. They have 'qualifications' and the influencers parrot them. I'm thinking of uvc on titanium oxide. I've rigged this up a few times, and it gives a nice fresh scent like the outdoors. This gives out hydroxyl ions, and I'm thinking that someone should be bold enough to have a hypothesis that a heavy saturation of this in the air is harmless and stops covid from getting in the eyes. However, anything new is instantly sued in the US. Too bad. We'll just have to go with things that don't work.

**Horrible sleazy adds showed up** I'm glad they're gone now. I'm still terribly worried that the exponential growth impacts the linear growth of moderators. That's how every chat I've been on for 40+ years has died. :(

#gardening **New Seeds** We just discovered a great *hack*. Nobody gets photo prints any more, and we have these albums hanging around. We just got in our seeds for the season. I start the tomatoes in March under the lights. I may start the onions earlier, but extreme cold makes things difficult in the garage.

**Toronto Snow** It's coming in really heavy now. I'll have to get the snowblower out one day. We don't drive much, and I'll try not to drive in a storm.

**Drones** All I want is to go straight up from the summer hut, and take aerial shots, as high as possible. I'm amazed that Aliexpress now has good ones at $50 cdn. I'm 50/50 with those guys, but cheap enough, and I'll take the gamble. Maybe I should wait to be more in the recession....
