Maybe the compressor needed a little bit of downtime? Could be that somewhere inside was a bit clogged due to ice and that's now resolved? Kinda 'have you tried turning it off and then on?' hehehe.

Oh sure, it wouldn't take that long (presumably) so not really a worry. Just sharing a bit of trivia here. ;)

@piggo In many fridge/freezer combo models, if one of the two doors are open, both won't get cooled.

Learned the hard lesson when I forgot to close the fridge door once... 😬

@joaopinheiro Bad weather would be storm and rain and stuff. I think the media would call this cold weather instead. :D Or, as I'd like to put it, freezing cold weather!

@gasquatch Looks like it does. It has an on/off button, and then 2 more buttons. One would be the reset button, the other is more than likely the turbo button. I bet it's activated as well the second led is visible, 33->66.

@panina To be honest, I think that's kind of far-fetched to ascribe it to racism. I think it's more linked to ignorance, you never really had to think about it because you don't live in or near a desert. Then you see images of someone living in a desert and then you go like 'hot damn...'.

Someone living in the Arizona desert posts pictures of his place, and I was surprised that it actually had plenty of plant life. I thought it'd be all sand and rock.
