@hypolite It depends on the instance. There are instances with a modified codebase, some have a big character limit. The one I'm on has a 65k limit for example.

@sil There are lighter microblogging software for the Fediverse. Pleroma would be one of them I believe. There are many one-person Pleroma instances.
