I can see the birds slowly preparing for (off)spring. From my comfortable position at the window I could see a magpie keeping itself busy. After a bit of messing about with that tree, it flew away with a large twig in its beak.

Had a chat with a coworker yesterday about how in world maps the African continent doesn't seem that very huge, while we're both pretty aware that Africa is actually bigger than it seems.

I was vaguely aware that the curvature of the Earth isn't really helping matters much, but there seems to be a little bit more to it according to this site:

Also, even though I was aware that some countries/continents were smaller/bigger than what they seem like on maps, I wasn't really prepared for that huge a difference! Greenland, for example, is actually just a very small part of Africa's size!

Sometimes you waste more time on configuring PyCharm than on actual coding. It can be quite infuriating. :P

It's so nice and sunny the last few days, I hope this continues for a while. I've actually managed to do some maintenance in the garden here and there. Just pruned my grapevine, it's ready to insanely grow again in about a month.

I have the feeling I should start a zoo... Explored around and brought a lot of animals home. 😋

And yes, that is a rat on my head there. The Rats mod is fabulous. It's really cute how they move their whiskers. 😄 Plus you can train them to do almost anything!

The giant eye is the Third Eye from Botania, makes me see mobs clearly as they become lit up brighter than an Xmas tree. I like it, even if it's kinda creepy looking!
