Busy trying to troubleshoot those Bluebots we have. Finally got the right screwdrivers, and currently trying to swap accus around to see if that is the problem. If this is the case, we'll just order new accus.

If a pawn pisses me off by having a tantrum and then destroying a whole stack of a valuable material, then they're getting stripped naked and have to fight a lynx or grizzly bear with their bare hands.

What? You're saying they won't survive that encounter?
That's the whole fucking point. ๐Ÿ˜’

I am a terrible god.

Kinda got bored with FTB Skies, so we're going to try out some random modpacks the coming time. Will probably check out FTB Legend of the Eyes tomorrow. At least it's not a skyblock-ish pack, as I'm not really fond of those. I want to explore random stuff! I want to spelunk into dark caves and then lose my way when trying to get back up! That sorta thing.

Played Unsolved Case with a buddy and that was pretty fun.

Basically we're both detectives, Ally and Old Dog, who get confronted with a mysterious package. Apparently it's related to an old case that we thought was closed, so wtf is going on? We have to communicate with each other via mobiles in-game as we often won't be in the same locations, and one has to guide the other and vice versa to get through a puzzle.

The prequel is free over at store.steampowered.com/app/208

Definitely considering the full game heh.

Oh jeez, another case of raiders trying to attack my base but my allies suddenly popped up to 'help me out' (read: they totally got slaughtered), while I was already busy lining the edges of my killbox with my armed forces.

So the end result? Double loot. From my raiders and from my allies. :P

Whew, finally finished reading 'Alles is relatief' (everything is relative) by Marjolein Vrijenhoek. No more accidentally reading until way past bedtime because you completely forgot about the time.

Totally not my genre though, but her writing style is just so easy to read. So it was too easy to just keep on reading to see what'd happen next.

Basically a woman with her 2 kids go to a camping in France. She just had a nasty divorce behind her. She just wanted to spend the time with her kids and out of nostalgia because she used to go to a camping too as kid.

So, even though she was not planning to pick up any guys there, she did manage to meet one that she likes a lot. But then something happened and she got confronted with her ex again.

Yadda, yadda.

Like I said, not my genre. But damn, that was an easy read. :P Modern language, written in a way that is easy to relate to. That was her first book too, so I think she's got a lot of potential there.

I really enjoyed the latest issue (#368) of Suske and Wiske, "De Rookburgh Rookies". It's a cool steampunk story and with a bit of AI in it. Was a fun read!

Always a challenge to figure out which Wikipedia page the current mystery page is: cemantle.certitudes.org/pedant

Managed to find today's at least.

I can say I am not really that fond of couscous. I probably should add a sauce or something next time.

Just got my killbox tested by a bunch of raiders deciding to drop by. I'd say, it's quite a success! Just some material damage that can be repaired, but none of my pawns got wounded! They're only pissed off that it is in the middle of the night, lol.

When the raiders ultimately decide that it's too much effort to attack your base and go attack the arriving trade caravan instead.

Jeez, today's Worldle was pretty tough! ๐Ÿ˜‹

FYI has temporarily silenced mastodon.social until they get their spam attack under control at which point the silence will be removed.

I like the ‘Inspired Taming’ event, and that a pair of Thrumbos decide to pass by at the same moment.

Guaranteed Thrumbo pet. :D They make for great attack animals too!

Another 2 hours of gardening done. The front garden is at least very much cleansed up. I still need to trim the butterfly bush someday, but that's for another time (I'm aware that it's kinda late).

And my back's also pretty broken now, so that's not going to be doing anything for the rest of today. And tomorrow I'll take it calmly too I think. It was a bit chilly today, I had to wear my raincoat against the wind. Tomorrow won't be much warmer either.

Chatting with an American buddy of mine about his place (Flagstaff) and the Grand Canyon and all that. And I still can’t wrap my head around the elevation he lives at.

I mean, even their ‘lowest points’ are still at a considerably higher elevation than my whole damn country. :D

To compare, we have one oversized hill of about 400 meter high. And that is what we call a mountain!

Phoenix (about 2 hours south of him) is sea level. So biking from Flagstaff to Phoenix is a nice cruise without too much effort. The other way however.. ehhhh. :D

*Sees a pawn on fire*

Mm should I rescue them?

*Checks their bio*
*Sees the Pyromaniac trait*

Oh, no, they're having the time of their (very short) life.

Great weather today. Sunny at first which was a tad too warm, but got cloudy soon after so it was great for gardening! The warmth is still lingering around.

Will take a hot bath soonish for a nice soak. That's a lot of plants trimmed today.

Weirdly enough it is the unused Duracell batteries that show the first signs of corrosion. The unused homebrand ones are all fine.

Also, I need to buy new batteries.
