*Gigantic piece of text with images and various font decorations stored to clipboard*

*Pastes into Sublime Text* Whoa, that's fast.

*Pastes into Word*
*Sees Word screaming in agony* Uh oh...

Granted, that's with a shitton of various text markups and colors... hehehe. Still, Word ultimately managed it. Kudos. ;)

@JonathanMBR Lol, that's a bigger area than my country. 😂 By about 8000 km² larger.

@users Don't grow too big. Mastodon.social is soooooooooo slow!

@ultem Inkscape is a bit a clunky beast. The only thing I use it for nowadays is to trace an image to make a vector image out of it. Then I use other software which are more intuitive to use and are less crash prone.

Used to use Inkscape a lot back then, though. All the basics are there at least.

@hj Holy shit, that would be a reason to get an Xmas tree again! My cat would love it! I wouldn't love the mess afterwards, though! 😂

@fluffy So you mean to say you have the blues because there are no blues?

@lupyuen Maybe I'll bother to watch it someday. In the meantime I'll just let my buddy gush over it whenever he thinks he's seen some interesting bits out of this series. ;)

@arteteco Excellent! I like science, but it's hard for me to focus on that sometimes since I have the attention span of a goldfish. Blub blub! So definitely the water bottle approach here! 🤪

@ravenclaw

@thor Okay, I couldn't help but laugh when it all squished away. 😂

@arteteco The KB522p is a normal sized keyboard, if I align this with my ancient Logitech UltraX Premium Keyboard, it's the exact same width. Just that the UltraX has a slightly wider buttons so that those islands are almost touching each other. The Dell islands are clearly seperate from each other. If this helps any.

That said, the UltraX series were the best non-mechanical keyboards ever. I absolutely loved them and they were cheap too. I miss them. This one here is the last one I have and it's badly damaged (but still usable). The keys were almost laptop height, the typing is very light on the touch, and everything just looks and feels great. It's a relatively low keyboard, so a wristrest isn't even necessary. *Sigh* I wish I could get more of those.

@thor That latter also applies to introverts talking online. :P

@arteteco I seem to be using the Dell KB522p now, not too bad. Does have a wristrest. Island buttons you mean pgup pgdown etc? Any sane keyboard should have that. Not sure what you mean with 'short run' though. Is this a mechanical keyboard thing? This one's a normal dome keyboard I believe. Ideally I love laptop keys as that's really light on the touch and not that high.

@thor Except that you probably had to reboot. Fun times.

@lupyuen What about 1 and 2? Don't I need some background information by watching those?

@lupyuen Is this series really that good? Buddy of mine loves watching it, I've not bothered yet. My attention span isn't very good for longwinded series atm.

@DardoFarias0860 Heya! Welcome to the insanity that is ActivityPub! I'm sure you'll feel right at home. ;)

Actually, the savageous cuddling pretty much backfired. He kept returning. :P

So, I've taken the path of least resistance. I've locked him out of my room now. He can go stalk around in the rest of the house instead. :P

Mrm, my cat totally wants to go outside but the vet said he has to stay inside for 7 days.

I am so going to be brutally tortured by his staring and whining.

Only one way to counterattack! PETTING TIME! SAVAGEOUS CUDDLING!

@Teryl_Pacieco Sounds almost as annoying as those kids in the car shouting 'Are we there yet?!'. ;)
