Wow. No wonder we thought we were slowly becoming crazy. Turns out the spirit level we used is actually broken and it showed different information depending on which side is facing us.

So yeah, it was always 5cm too high or 5cm too low. With another one we finally managed to get it right, and yes, that was 2,5 cm difference. :P

@cweickhmann Just keep in mind that those Mastodon clients might not support 100% of the features that Qoto has to offer since it's running a modified version of Mastodon. If you can live with those limitations, then that's a fine client.

@lucifargundam Just keep it up. I've read that having a gajillion of rejections is apparently normal, even though it might be discouraging. You can do it!

@ebassi @sesivany Oh, whoops. Good point, I keep forgetting that I am on an instance with a modified version of Mastodon, and it has this feature. Sorry about that!

I guess there's not really a way to follow hashtags on vanilla Mastodon.. The lists there seem to only be able to include people.

What you could do is bookmark the hashtags instead. For example, if you want to follow feditips, you would bookmark https://mastodon.social/web/tags/feditips there and use your browser's features to visit those. Not as convenient I'm afraid but that's the only solution I can currently think of with the simplified timeline.

@ebassi @sesivany in the preferences you can select which hashtags you want to follow and even in which timeline (list basically) you want them to be sent to.
