And how you came to be on here... please allow me to speculate:
You might've had a grand evening last night, so grand that you completely blacked out. For some obscure reason you managed to type in some random letters in your browser ending up as 'qoto.org' and decided to sign up.. totally in a blacked out state which is impressive!

And now.. well. Now you've got a hangover and have to deal with us.

@dusan Indeed. And it's the best way to show the world at large that, yes, every account from their domain is verified as coming from them! And it doesn't cost $8 a month! ;)

Sure, the server costs money.. but if they are big they already have a server lying around anyway.

@dusan Ah that's a different kind of 'convenience'. The vendor lock-in kind of convenience. It's getting about time that every news outlet and project gets moved over to a more accessible medium. ;)

This picture isn't 100%, but it should already give you a very decent overview of the various sign language families.

BSL is totally seperate (the British didn't want to learn from those damn Frenchies...). ASL and related are the most common. Dutch Sign Language (NGT) and ASL have the same ancestor, so there's some overlap (but still very distinct sign languages).
