Lol, what the hell, the X-logo on the Twitter building is so bright that you'd need blinds to block it out. And that's not all, it's even flashing like crazy at times to draw attention. 👀 Fun neighbourhood there.

Ghehehe, little bug in the game. I didn't get a chance to drop the excess weapon in the last system and was forced to move forward immediately. And now I'm facing a big boss and, well, yeah. 😋

Deposits on cans got introduced a few months ago in this country to eliminate littering.

The result?
Trash bins are ripped open in search for cans with a deposit on them, causing more littering.

:picardfacepalm:

Hehe, Superlopez was an amusing movie to watch. It's kinda a Spanish superman. ;)

I might actually have to close the windows soon, I'm close to freezing in the middle of summer, lol.

(But it sure does beat any heatwave, so I'm not complaining!)

The pope wasn't dope
So I told him nope
Called him a clown
His ship went down
And the galaxy gained hope

Finished chapter 2 of Crying Suns. Intriguing backstory so far.

"If it's going fast enough, a feather can absolutely knock you over."

It boggles my mind in such an event, if you are within a few AU, the neutrinos alone will kill before anything else has a chance to do you harm. :)

After today at job I get reminded that the work of a Deaf Person is never finished. There's still audism (discrimination based on hearing ability) around, even from people in fairly high positions who should've known better.

Let's just say that if I had been around said person when they said certain words, I'd probably have sued the fuck outta them.

So far Crying Suns is pretty sweet, but it sure is filled with conspiracy theory nuts and religious zealots.

Mmm, kinda like real life. 😋

(I'm halfway chapter 2 now)

Grabbed Crying Suns for relatively cheap and enjoyed the first play session. Nice background story there. It was about time I am playing something else than RimWorld for a bit. 😅

@bojacobs @sts @histodons This is a popular myth but it’s not true at all. This stuff will last 10,000 years at most. The really nasty stuff will last about 300 years.

There are other things we produce that will actually last forever. Arsenic, for example, which is both a byproduct of burning coal and of certain industrial processes. Unlike radioactive material it does not become less harmful over time. That’s with us forever. 1/?

I just cannot watch Johnny English Strikes Again in one go, I have to take a break so very often, like after 5-10 minutes every time. That movie is just. so. damn. ridiculous. 😂
I still haven't finished watching it.

I absolutely love looking at the butterfly bushes in my garden and seeing all those butterflies soaking up some sweet sweet nectar up close. 🦋
There are a bunch of bees too but I generally try not to get too close to them. 😅

I really like this war crimes simul... err I mean I really like RimWorld. But I feel like I want to start a new colony again because I keep changing my mind about how I want the base layout to be and I have added and removed a fair amount of mods in the meantime as well. :P

See, this is why I have such a hard time completely finishing a game. Especially one that can be modded infinitely. 😋

In June 20, 2023, a documentary miniseries called TROM II was published on #Peertube, making it the first feature-length film to ever be released exclusively on the #Fediverse. Question is, were you aware of this documentary before?

Boosts appreciated.
