@arteteco Well, I'm busy enough binge-watching The Legend of Korra and dealing with half power failures in my house. And near midnight I'll have to comfort my cat too, because despite the ban on fireworks there's still fireworks anyway.

Ah, nothing better than ending 2020 with electricity trouble in the house.

And of course tomorrow nothing will be open. So I'll have to contact the power company on saturday at the earliest. And that is a weekend. Yayyyyyyyyy... /s

@mur2501 I've spent a few years in the USA before and had an Indonesian roommate. :P And a shitton of other Asian ones. I don't think I know Indian people there. The closest I get is that I knew someone from Sri Lanka. :P

I'm also Indo-European. Family on my mom's side were raised in Nederlands-Indië, which was the name for Indonesia before they gained independence. So I am of Indisch origin (mixed blood Indonesian/Dutch). Some of my relatives are very visibly so. You won't see that at all in my siblings and me.

@freemo I don't hang around in pubs anymore. All my buddies have moved on with their lives. From students to responsible adults now, so yeah.. Not seeing much drunkards lately. ;) So all I have now is vague memories and that I don't like dealing with people who think logic doesn't apply to them, heh.

Thankfully none of my friends are alchoholics. Those people always find some way to reason that they are, in fact, not addicted. It's amazing. One alcoholic I knew even told me he hid the booze in his underwear drawer but he certainly is not an alcoholic...

@freemo No clue, that is just my experience. :P The assholes are the ones who claim not to remember anything the next day. There are exceptions of course.
