@sean It's a fun series. The first 2 seasons were great! 3rd is okay. Then it became a little bit meh as it seemed to drag on a bit. But overall a great series!

@mur2501 This is apparently a nevelzwam (Clitocybe nebularis). It might be poisonous and might contain cancerous stuff. But apparently it's a delicatesse in France, provided you prepare it well.

I'm certainly not going to try it. I don't like the taste of mushrooms at all!

@mur2501 I wouldn't mind 23C... though 23C in the night usually means like 30+C in the day, which is a bit too much. Just a tad. A teeny weeny bit... like.. anything over 25C is a little too much. ;)

Though near freezing (water had thin ice layers scattered throughout) is a bit on the extreme opposite.

Went for a little new year's walk today in the park. I can say it's pretty cold out there. (Yes, @mur2501 . It's close to actual freezing out there, nowhere near a nice balmy 16C. 😋)

On the way we passed this tree trunk with all those mushrooms growing around it. It's like a little mushroom ring for fairies. It looked spiffy enough for me to take a picture of.

Lots of bare trees and dead leaves. And muddy ground from all the rain in the past weeks.
'Twas a good walk.

Somehow I doubt that. I think they mostly talk about (red) wine, of that I do seem to recall that in low doses it seems to have some healthy benefits, but even that is contested. Anything else is a no go.

If the cars here would go too fast, Suske would be permanently inside. But I've always lived in reasonably quiet neighbourhoods, specifically because of cats!

Lots of fireworks here too. More than I expected because this year many of the fireworks were banned. Oh well.
