@davidrevoy A filmed review? I hope there will be a written one too? Or subtitles?

@lucifargundam
The solution an American buddy did was giving me some Steam credit to buy the games that he wanted to gift to me. So I bought all the games minus one, because it was pricier at my side than at his. :P
@evandornbusch

Apparently the #1 thing that confuses word processor users: creating a Table of Contents.

Wtf people, it is not rocket science!

@ethicsperoxide I can safely say that my U2410 has its power button definitely in the corner. So nice!

@lucifargundam Likely where 'temporary' comes from. I can't think of a Dutch word related to this, though. We do have 'tempo' which means speed. I guess that might be somewhat related, actually. Not specifically 'speed' but the time it takes to do something.

@spluyeetsn That's a very weird topic to have as your first toot. Also... who the hell cares?

In Dutch we have a saying when someone sneezes at least 3 times, it will be a beautiful weather tomorrow.

If my sneezing sessions today are anything to go by, it'll be a scorching heat tomorrow, burning this world up in flames. :P

@lucifargundam Sounds like for this example you might want to use 'regal' instead since that has a lot more resemblance to the original word. :D

This is a pretty cute dog-themed pack of playing cards :D

For those interested, there's currently a flash sale going on.

I like it how every symbol got their own theme going. Diamonds for digging holes, hearts for messing around with a blanket, etc. And all scenes are finalized at the 10th card. :D

Ha, when looking further down that page, I see there's also a kitten-themed pack in the same style! :D

Looks like they also have a flash sale going.

Too cute. :D

@lucifargundam I wonder if people still know how to pronounce in Latin?

@lucifargundam That's right. There's so much derived from the Latin language in the Western World. We usually don't really think about it much, but it's nice to sometimes see 'hey wait.. that is familiar...'. :)

@deesapoetra Maybe you could take a peek at a straightforward note software to jot down everything you learn? Obsidian, for example. There are many others but I prefer Obsidian myself atm. :) Papers always become a hot mess over here.

Not every day that you can manage to put a card battler game in an infinite loop and hang your system. A hard reboot was in order. ;)

For details: I was playing Ascension with the Immortal Heroes set. I regularly got the Wandering Askara cards, where if you banish both cards you get another turn after this one. Then those cards get dumped in The Void Pile.

I was far enough into the game where the Void Pile already had been put into the Center Row quite a few times. And ultimately there were only 3 cards left in the Center Row, the Void was empty. So I decided, eff it, I'm getting bored with replaying turns over and over again, I had so many points that the AI never could catch up anyway.

Yeah, the AI decided to eff it too. :D I guess it was never meant to go that far into the game with an almost empty Center Row!

@mur2501 Not really. I live in a relatively quiet enough neighbourhood, which is why the trucks caught my eye. There seem to be a lot more deliveries around here lately.
