Which is what I do aplenty in the server I'm on. And hope that the cool ones stay. From the previous exodus (though it's a mini-exodus compared to now, heh) we had a few staying who I consider to be fun additions to our local timeline, so I'm happy. And it can easily happen again.
I've been around the Fediverse for 5 years, and I've got a Twitter account for even longer than that... The Fediverse excels in interactions, which is the whole point of social media (imo), so I'm quite happy around here.
Yes, of course, it's not perfect. I've witnessed some outright moronic events here. But I know that the Fediverse is more my home than Twitter ever could be.
If you find a server where the moderation is to your liking, then you're golden.

@r0bk4m Oh sure, if you like the advanced interface, by all means use it. :D It's more as a reference for others who read this who might prefer the non-advanced interface.

@marind Since Qoto is on Mastodon with custom modifications, I prefer the mobile web interface instead. It's very mobile friendly! Most apps adhere to default Mastodon standards and you'd miss out on a lot of Qoto's extra features.

Even though we don't have Thanksgiving here in the Netherlands, we do seem to get more and more Black Friday stuff thrown at us.
In general I couldn't care less, but this time I actually hope to see some good phone deals so I can upgrade my ancient phone to something more recent. :P

@r0bk4m Qoto has a few more features to follow hashtags, go to your settings page, see image.
The added benefit is that you can choose where those followed stuff has to be displayed: Your home timeline, or one of your lists.
Plus you don't need the advanced interface this way.

Honestly? I joined the Fediverse originally because I wanted a 'Twitter alternative with a less insanely small character count post limit'. And looky, I'm still here after all those years, so it's pretty decent. :D
