@freemo You could still go to Rotterdam. Every demonstration there ends up in a riot anyway because the cops there actually are like American cops. Should check info about this 'woonprotest' that happened a buncha weeks ago. Cops suddenly started hammering in on the demonstrators who got permission to demonstrate along a set route. You should feel right at home, fearing the cops there!

@freemo I don't mind grabbing popcorn but I'm not going to watch any fireworks. Besides, they're cancelled for this new year's eve anyway, which is fine by me. Those poor pets never understand why us Dutchies have to start 2 weeks too early with random explosions here and there. Heck, yesterday there was a big one over at Rotterdam. Wait no, that wasn't just explosions, that was a whole riot. I don't get why people have huge demonstrations against the new corona rules while the numbers are surging up.. and at said demonstrations they don't keep distance so the numbers are going to rise even more, leading to more strict rules.. the very thing they were demonstrating against.

Oh wait, wrong fireworks. Well, their domains are all blocked by me so I couldn't care less. I only see you bring forth old news because we're already aware what kind of people those are. ;)

@strawberryfieldsforever I've given up on those apps and just have a direct link to the mastodon web interface instead, since it's already very nicely geared towards mobile use. Reason? Qoto has a lot of custom features that won't get picked up by the apps at all.
