@trinsec Thanks!
Can you please advice me any interesting information sources / follows?
I new in this network. But I understand that free networks is the future.
May be have any FAQ or "Awesome list" with interesting peoples/sources in this network.
Sorry for my English :)

A buddy gifted Mindustry to me, so I'm likely going to play a few multiplayer sessions with my friends in the coming week(s).

It's sorta a Factorio lite. Less micromanaging, but more enemy invasions. It's actually a freeform tower defense game.

Considering I'm the slow backbone builder, it's a good idea to send my buddies to the front where they can build the turrets and defenses while I make sure the production lines are there. :P

Woot woot. Sis finally brought back the mini stepper fitness device, she didn't use that at all. And now that my desk is put at the highest position (it's an electric sitting/standing desk, fancy I know!) I can perfectly exercise my legs and play games at the same time! (gotta feed the addiction while still staying healthy!)

Went for a little new year's walk today in the park. I can say it's pretty cold out there. (Yes, @mur2501 . It's close to actual freezing out there, nowhere near a nice balmy 16C. 😋)

On the way we passed this tree trunk with all those mushrooms growing around it. It's like a little mushroom ring for fairies. It looked spiffy enough for me to take a picture of.

Lots of bare trees and dead leaves. And muddy ground from all the rain in the past weeks.
'Twas a good walk.

Power returned around 3:30-ish. Woo! Heat! Light! Computers! Internet that is not on a damn small phone screen! No more smelling paraffine!

Ok, a brighter 2021 everyone!

I'll start the day off healthy with a new year's walk with my mother soon!

Happy new year everybody. May your day not be as dark as here right now! :P (typing this by candle light)

Wheeee! Full blown power failure in my house row a half hour before 2021 arrives! So wonderful! :P

Show thread

Ah, nothing better than ending 2020 with electricity trouble in the house.

Sure, why not. 😒

And of course tomorrow nothing will be open. So I'll have to contact the power company on saturday at the earliest. And that is a weekend. Yayyyyyyyyy... /s

"Am I remembered, in your time?" the emperor asked.
"You are," the time traveler said.
"Good. I am having a huge tomb built for me. Does it still stand?"
"It does."
"And what am I remembered for?"
"That you built that tomb."
"Only that?"
"Only that, your majesty."

Greetings from 2021!

It's all fine here. Everything is fine. It's a great year. We solved all the problems. There are no more problems because we solved them all.

It turns out capitalism works really well if you just let it run on automatic! Nothing needs to be fixed at all. It's like magic. Hypertechfinance cleaned up the glaciers in no time.

I would like to stress again, for the cameras, which are integrated into everything now, just how absolutely fine everything is, here in the future.

Lessee how annoying my cat is going be. He's not allowed outside today and tomorrow.

I never take risks during new year's eve, there are a bit too many morons around with illegal fireworks.

I don't quite get it. The Legend of Korra's episode names are all in Dutch (@Netflix Netherlands). It looks exceedingly stupid (eg. 'airbender' -> 'luchtbestuurder').

But the subtitles only has the option of 'Engels [CC]' (my favorite!) or 'Uit' (not my favorite!). So there's not even Dutch subs available. (Not that I mind, since translations of names are always cringe-worthy.)

Okay, they do have Dutch audio available. Still...
Are Dutch kids really hearing stuff like 'luchtbestuurders'?! :P

People around here seem to like cats a lot. (can't blame them)

They also seem to like bread a lot. (can't blame them there either)

Do they also know of the comic Cat Loaf Adventures? (ridiculously enjoyable!)

*Wipes kitty hair off face* So, that was a cuddle. He can continue sleeping in peace now. :P

I've assessed the 'storm damage' in my garden and straightened up a lot of patio furniture, the organic trashbin, and a broom.

2020, never forget! :P

I'm at that phase in this (yet another) side project where I'm using Krita to make graphic assets instead of GIMP

GIMP has gotten better. Lots better. But it's probably not a good sign when younger programs leave you in the dust in the UX department

"More powerful" is relative and, ultimately, your ability to use it comfortably for days on end matters
