Heh, why does it not surprise me to read that Player.me is going to shut down? That place went to the shitter after they made their intent clear to focus on streamers mostly and then we got flooded with 'plz follow my stream' spam in our timeline.

Actually, it's probably just as well because that led me to search for alternatives, and I ended up here in the Fediverse. :)

If any, I'm more surprised that they managed to survive for this long. That place was most fun somewhere before 2018, we had great gaming conversations then. Kinda miss that time a little.

@AmpBenzScientist You can do the reimaging thing after you reinstall Windows. Just make a proper image out of that once you've installed everything you need for that one.

@Stemist Actually, the series' vibe. I love point and click adventure games. :) I still play them, even the modern ones. Some are actually fairly decent.

They're already in your timeline. You wouldn't notice much difference from a Mastodon perspective.

Just that when their address ends with 'pixelfed' in its domain name you know it's likely a pixelfed account. But there might be many more with vague domain names that might actually be a pixelfed instance without you realizing.

I took a glance at the federated timeline just then, with the option 'Media Only' turned on. I saw at least one domain that's pixelfed-related. So they're already federating with us and just looks like everybody else to us because of our Mastodon interfaces.

@lydiaconwell If you know a pixelfed account, just go to their profile page in mastodon (you can put their pixelfed address in the search bar). From there on you can follow them and so on.

@soundwave That's a pretty interesting read. I can see this theism limiting humanity, yes.

But.. please.. PLEASE, try to use some more newlines next time. Break it up into paragraphs. It was kinda a gigantic wall of text which made it hard to read.

And that's a shame because it seriously was an interesting perspective, and I thank you for putting that into words and sharing with us.
