We made it easy for admins too, they can manage their listing from the admin dashboard.

Wow, uh. The helper who is at my house every week had a bit of an issue with her organization and cried. So I offered her coffee, loaded up Google Transcribe (she doesn't know sign) and let her get it allllll out of her system.
Glad to report that she went away (after a whole hour!) with a smile on her face, so that's great. It drained me though. Hard to focus on lipreading and Transcribe so long. I'll need to have a little bit of me-time now before I go off to my next appointment.
Finally, my old alarm system's been replaced. Now I've got working flashing lights again to warn me when someone rings the doorbell! That was way overdue!
And while I was at it, I also requested one for my mobile phone, so the lights will flash when my phone receives messages. I'll have to remember to turn that off when I go to bed. ;)
Actually, I might just leave it off altogether, heh.

Halloween ist ja eine schaurige Zeit, aber trotzdem muss die Gassirunde ja sein. Ryna ist zwar die komische Gestalten ausgewichen, aber ausweichen ist besser als in Panik zu geraten oder in Angststarre zu verfallen.
Auf unsere Gassirunde lag auch das Haus meiner Freunde, welche sich zu Halloween ja immer was einfallen lassen. Nach etwas Beobachtung aus der Ferne konnten wir die Sachen sogar aus der Nähe anschauen, und dann uns sogar dazu setzen (auf den Schoß vom Pflegepapa lässt sich es auch schön aushalten). Rundherum wieder ein erfolgreicher Abend mit einen Schritt mehr in Richtung relaxter Hund.
(Ja, die Bilder sind nicht schön, aber ich wollte nicht den Blitz verwenden)

Even though we don't have Thanksgiving here in the Netherlands, we do seem to get more and more Black Friday stuff thrown at us.
In general I couldn't care less, but this time I actually hope to see some good phone deals so I can upgrade my ancient phone to something more recent. :P

Ryna mausert sich immer mehr, am Sonnabend hatten wir mal die Nachbarschaft erkundet (und fanden Wege die noch so unbekannt waren). Die kleine ist gut gelaufen, sie fremde Menschen sind aber noch ein Grund zum Schutz suchen (was auch ganz gut klappt).
Nach der langen Tour hat sich die Ryna dann erstmal ausgiebig ausgeruht.
Die neue Familie brauch einfach nur Zeit und Zuneigung, dann kann man mit der Ryna viel anstellen...

Just finished reading the latest Suske & Wiske comic (365). 'De Boze Boleet', and it's all about (fantasy) mushrooms. I know a few of the Dutch people here are bonkers about mushrooms. Well, this one was a fun read. :)
Ik heb net de nieuwste Suske & Wiske gelezen (365). 'De Boze Boleet', en het gaat helemaal over (fantasie)paddestoelen. Ik weet dat er hier een paar Nederlanders zijn die compleet gek zijn van zwammen. Dit album was leuk om te lezen. :)

Just had my neighbour at the door. He asked if I could trim the plants from my garden which are hanging over the fence into his garden. The leaves are dropping and making a mess of that corner of the garden apparently.
I told him he's perfectly allowed to trim the part hanging over the fence. But he actually wants _me_ to trim them because they are _my_ plants. (Very specifically emphasizing that, _my_ plants.)
No can do, I said. Arm hurts, so it would be a while. Maybe I'd get around to it at the start of spring. It's why my garden's been unswept for a while now. Then he asked if I could call in someone else's help to trim the plants for me... 🤨
He had 'enough stuff to do' that he couldn't do it he said. Uh, well, yeah, my arm gotta heal first, so I can't do it and no, I can't call anyone for it either. 'But it is a neighbourly thing to do', yeah well, you'll have to wait then. He asked if I could do it in like 2 months' time or so? Eventually yeah, because 'snoeien doet groeien' (trimming makes the plants grow).
But that's kinda weird to me, because in 2 months the leaves would be gone and it'd be after the fact for the reason he wanted those plants trimmed in the first place. 😜
Anyway, so yeah. I definitely want to trim them eventually, probably early spring. But that he wants _me_ to trim them and not do a thing himself at all, feels like a bit a weird vibe to me. If he'd just cut off the parts hanging over the fence now, then there'd be less mess in his garden sooner. 
Whenever I eat my cereal with yoghurt, my cat waits patiently until I'm done. He loves licking the bowl clean afterwards.
Just dealt with an invasion to my MineColonies village. It was big enough to draw attention of the baddies. There were 4 waves of mobs, progressively getting stronger. The last wave was especially annoying as those skeletons seemed to have ridiculously overpowered bows.
In the end I did prevail and got some nice loot out of it. I'm not sure my guard minions did a good job if at all. I guess I should start crafting some weapons and gear for them, heh.

Playing the MineColonies mod in this Minecraft modpack I'm playing really makes me want to play RimWorld... The idea is strikingly similar.
In MineColonies you work with prefab buildings that you can level up. And RimWorld is more customizable and more insane, but in 2D.

Die Ryna ist nun seit 2 Wochen bei mir auf 'Pflegestelle'.
Zur Vorgeschichte:
Ryna war schon seit Februar'22 in der privaten rumänischen Tierauffangstation, die Besitzerin der Station hat vorher seit September'21 gebraucht um das Vertrauen von Ryna zu erlangen damit sie mitgenommen werden konnte. Ryna war häufig beim Kaufland in Tecuci und versuchte da etwas Essen zu ergattern, leider gibt es halt nicht nur Tierfreunde und so musste Ryna auch sehr oft Abweisungen und Tritte erfahren. Zum Glück hatte sie dann aber Vertrauen zur Besitzerin der Station gefunden so das sie dann in Sicherheit gebracht werden konnte.
In der Station hatte die Ryna zwar Freunde gefunden, aber auf Dauer ist das nichts und die Station wurde auch immer voller. So entschied man das Ryna auf Pflegestelle in Deutschland kommen sollte. Das auch mit schweren Herzens für die Besitzerin der Station, beiden hatten sich im Herz geschlossen. Aber das Wohl der Hunde steht immer im Vordergrund.
Und nun ist die kleine Dame schon seit 2 Wochen hier. Und die kleine macht jeden Tag auch etwas mehr Fortschritte, wo die ersten Tagen die Gassirunden nur sehr kurz waren sind diese nun schon bedeutend länger. Die Ryna ist zwar noch verunsichert (was aber bedingt durch die Vorgeschichte kein Wunder ist), aber sie mausert sich immer mehr. Die kleine Dame mag aber auch ausgiebig zu kuscheln. Mit meinen Kater Oskar (der ja nun auch schon 13 Jahre alt ist) ist die Koexistenz kein Problem, da bin ich auch gespannt was die beiden in Zukunft noch aushecken.
Wir (Ich und der Verein Hopscotch Tierhilfe e.V.) suchen nun für Ryna ein liebevolles neues Zuhause wo sie einfach nur Hund sein darf ohne die Ängste die sie bisher erfahren musste. Die kleine Dame hat das Verdient und bis dahin werden wir noch schauen mehr Selbstsicherheit aufzubauen.
Und ich werde nun öfters hier berichten, keep tuned!
