Everyone has things they can do more towards others instead of on their own / only as 1-way consumers.

Can we do more of this and call it "Adverts" for us (like a as a #betterbusiness info post link 'advert' to leah?). I don't get any reply from leah so this is a good example both as a good person but also as no way to make friends of strangers or build anything... So what just business?

I don't mean adverts without a cause on #Mastodon but something 1-notch nearer - more than everyone scrambling now to be heard or make money - something that helps us work together since A LOT OF US HAVE TIME but we can't now because you are too scared or always waiting for a bigger '#verified checkmark' style logo system to helps us feel it's ok.

I verify you with what I do and love and and you do you what you do and love - we share and verify each other (a bit like #Ubuntu phrase) e interests and with those interests we involve / evolve more people looking at more people's things (which we do anyway but as a movement like an 'OutReach' department of Mastodon or anything which I think it should have to teach people HOW TO BE SOCIAL!! Yes 'don't give credit card details etc!!" but DO TRUST THEM and part of their profile to some extent.

We verify each other anyway.
Why can't we do a bit more together?

I already do "adverts" for others off my own back so it would be nice if I got some recognition and acknowledgment.

This why I'm posting this as I don't exist to many. As many of us are dead or treated as excess to humanity without being professional coders or PhD in something... which could be a waste of time for a lot of what we can pool together like crowd-funding the resources and love for people / things... not just money.

- something that we need to increment as #Trust daily (a token is not my 1st choice but you see how people go for it) otherwise we stay far too isolated... so something really better

So the learning more about those good connected as THE #work / and adverts (to ourselves) is much like following others) to helps a better #web / #ecosystem...

Ideally I'd like #Mastodon or projects to help people actually do social (it's quite empty here, plenty of #posts but not real #interaction and inter-personal #solving things, improving language, allowing like-minded strangers to help)...

So this post we about finding what isn't 100% in #Brave but right idea that we need to INVOLVE all good #Fediverse people and 1 by 1 see them for what they are and use them for our causes. Else we wait for slow death as a better twitter and don't actually cooperate together for next steps or finding next steps...

I feel like Short-text / Short-reading by people directly undervalues people and longer understanding - it's cutting corners reading only short things and proportionally killing the planet / cutting people who write more off.

That's why I'd like to do audio conversation now... (anytime) so we don't get stuck in the text realm either and just speak lightly in the ethereal / spirit of life.

People are the depth and action of the culture so if text is not deep enough then culture dies. Audio conversation I have can put back the reality into people.

Just sticking to yourself dosn't work. We can solve almost everything as our efforts can double if we are relaxed but do it constantly over tiem... it's OK "it's all political" (!) and our opinions too... so letting go too far into "Politics" of "Leaders" is not the way we want to go... as a #centralised system (of control)

Your decisions can be made and changed doing short depth + short depth (=long!) which can reinforce those bad things less by seeing the depth in tricks (like chess it's "aha! I realise why they made that move now") .

Don't let "Short-ism" make you think it works for you (it's the opposite). Communicate more and build normal people up. - Increase more #sense and #society but socialising incrementally like at a party.

The 'human condition' needs A HUMAN WAY OF FIXING THINGS in a social-communal situation... not a ultra-tech way.
We have #Mastodon and #Jitsi etc - we just need to increase trust step by step and measure ourselves as we go.

The Free School movement I feel is "the best way" for people as a transient flexible "school" of fish / people in life because it's YOUR way and your likes mixed in however you want guided by others in the same class or other t give another perspective..

As long as you trust yourself and trust a few others more while measuring while mixing, then it's all good and essential can't be bad - especially from these distances.

Opposite of the above would be: working isolated in a loop... without encouraging contact ...working for bad people / state
...while not giving back or seeing what others have to give
...and reading the news in a bad loop #doomscrolling as I do (and need your help to get out of!) ... only to complain about my adding to it.

So feeding yourself better comes building others in trust and people upwards not downwards pushing. Therefore:

Mutuality, Education, and maybe Friendship can help 🎈 WIN:WIN:WIN 🎈 for us all in this world ...or at least #Fediverse to start with.

📖 Towards a more caring intelligent planet and better mindset of people... but also not over-specialising...

Short "ism" or short reading by people kills the planet and those people don't read deeply and fall into newspaper tabloid headlines (also short) and reacting too much almost as an #addiction.

Don't be afraid to share - even though it might be natural to try pull back. I don't think there is another way around this by carefully sharing and doing it with bad people filtered out (but not everyone filtered out as we all lose that way being cut off) .

Aagain measuring me and you (and others) we can avoid killing ourselves and others killing us (directly and indirectly) for profit (it's all linked back to banks and state who as root don't #care). So while we pretend to be '#independent' (which doesn't exist or very lightly does) I think we can truly undo things 1 at a time or just by not using things too much like #AI etc.

Those who feed from #mainstream (from the people behind it) surely will mess up again and see less and less gains over time). Short-term some AI benefit but long term chained-to-machine type stuff and robots judging us (robots are just people / leaders behind it controlling..)

🗨️ I reply to your interests and you give some ideas... we do what we can and like... more freely / towards each other's freedoms.

Consider *developing people* (or just me) at the same time in your work also - not just #developing machine code, but #decent people are the KEY to everything almost FOREMOST...

If people's lives are machine-like and computer-orientated then don't complain if that's what you get !

The cold Matrix system is all using $computers and #tech.

And that tech is being bought or regulated by the likes of #Musk / #Trump / #Bezos etc mostly since they have more leverage against everyone and using #banks also as negative force / debt generators.

In the end we lose with only tech, even with Mastodon without regular chats!

(yes computers are too fast and even nice things get used badly but only we can stop it (by developing better people to use better things in a better way). Give me a hammer and I won't break windows.

Problem is that not everyone knows how to make #friends and always specifically why... but they do want to be in #meetup #events / #festivals / #clubs etc which is why they visit in person in the hope better things happen between people.

So with less in-person events or more regulations, I think online is perfect for this real social to happen, kind of like regular dating program to find someone but not being too desperate, just much more toned down to see who else is out there seeing the potential in two people really finding almost mutually-#random things to work on, or those that simply have #free #time to #help out.

If we just buy and sell each other for specific commercial #projects as the main required #relationships, then nothing much better happens from it.

I can measure this on Fediverse from daily message attempt and how many non-replies (for various reasons but again NON-replies).

At best people like to just have good things said or nothing... people like #UBI4ME who for all nice intentions don't want to do long messages or multiple post replies answering things (they ask for engagement too in posts and videos!).

Most reply once or twise but fizzle at 2nd messages and can't handle answering let alone #discussion.

It's almost the same as the real world just without advertising. which is a great step but not enough as social itself
(it's not tech but people that need engineering too to do social better).

People looking for only "positives" just to serve their own aesthetics or nothing in reply is the current way.

Overall #unsocial people, that you might get anywhere (less offensive here to the point of not replying instead). Almost all into into #Tech - not people development.

So if you're trying to escape and save yourself from in real life from who can't communicate and ignorant tyranny then you're in the same boat here on the other side of the spectrum of ineffective social.

So you're realising while reading this that it's almost exactly the same reflection of real life with people unable / disabled / uncaring (dare I say) and not willing to put any skin on the line to develop themselves (which is really OUR selves) out of the very #paperbag they stay in or whatever they #complain about....

#Federation comes from person to person contact... 🤯

#Federation done properly is from people making strong bonds with people, daily - not just a general name of larger places even together but not doing much, but knowing and working with them better 🤯

Without decent aligned people contacting each other it's all aesthetics as Federation, and can flop despite the numbers.

It's all temporary if people are not actually interacting more #together / closer. As true #Friends in #Federation.

People might wonder why things like Mastodon largely end up as a better Twitter or how we couldn't get it together using email or any other social -
That's because it's still not improving the people itself as #friends more dedicated to helping each other in rising up #together despite imperfections - because we are all knowing there are 100 Trumps are out there. And from being scared we also stick together.

Incrementing a better expression and alignment *while accepting initial imperfect* is the key to better Federation and people not falling apart at the first sentence and bickering, like twitter.

Q. TLDR What's missing from the #Fediverse... ?

A. Trust...

As any "user" will know using the less-evil "systems" (those less invasive with near-0 #algorithms like Mastodon) makes things hit and miss here on the Fediverse... and it's going to be the same unless we change our work habits to work *with* each by investing time into each other, otherwise else we get ruled and divide alone...

We can entertain things *a bit more* without $tate cashing us in for every single transaction we make - which is never helping anyone and actually takes away a lot of heat and real help overall.

(boost please for more work on this)

The rest is explained below but "Trust" and increasing #Friendships seems to be what's needed / can't be left as it is.

We can achieve #Trust with visible #feedback comments / #testimony / #ProofOfWork / #credibility online (like if I do something bad someone says and we argue it).

If you can think about trust and if it's true then we can work on increasing it with most of what we have other than conscious effort on our part or as the #people #project.

To increase trust for those that want and see the point to increase participation in life...
( ...online then offline, one big circle 🔁 ).

⭐ My answer is to dedicate time to looking / talking / helping grow others more personally and that opens up much more and harmless from a distance until we meet more and more in person.

Really looking, and weaving ourselves together to form a bigger #mesh and #blanket of people... is for the way that we haven't seen regularly...

#Email, #IRC, #P2P, #XMPP, static websites, they are not enough ➡️ because people themselves can't do more than 1 or 2 replies max and get 'weirded out' at some point over their own shadow (or actually anything they choose). Because they are not focused on #friendship.

Same about #Mastodon or any part of #Fediverse not making people more deliberately part of the value and frankly just entertainment and education-without-action mostly.

EXAMPLE
Even posting this seems to make a like-minded person like @rysiek@mstdn.social / @rysiek@hackers.town
blocks me and actually creates animosity. Crazy and unsaid - why are people so afraid or whatever if even #rysiek a hacker doesn't even have courtesy to say why? Probably but shows life is losing meaning as everything is becoming unsaid and people considered worthless..

We (they) never really build on things doing things like that with people - or even get past the basic #communication hurdles. Even if people do some good work there is a lot they are not doing well with *people* (people not just tech).

The better examples of communication are from geeks or other "extreme" fans of stuff, especially in forums previously, because their mutual interest in hardware / software wok for things as a kind of #relationship
but that is still not enough as far as people bridging the gap...

More #relativity and #relationship is needed and real care curation... for #intelligence spread or people just growing their #dreams however they want.

We need something more on the people front. Not just cold #system.

People actually helping others improve by looking closely at each other's stuff and making a kind of better #understanding to link them to other things or even set it up for them!!

Helpful #critique helps for something #measurably usable for that person (not just stone throwing or misunderstanding for months or blocking quickly).

Where's the dedicated relativity here on Fediverse aside from one-way posts?

United it seems in hating #Trump #Bezos #Zuckerberg (go ahead look at how many posts are there) but how mny actuall build on each other's stuff?

Hating doesn't really count highly for me or they are just fear-reaction posts... when we need to positively build *ALSO*... else really get left with nothing.

One-way machine type #Tech talk isn't the only thing to invest in but people.

Ok plenty of fixes and advice happen here for devices but on the internals of people and 'other' fixes inside to love themselves or share with others deeper still feels very machine based. So something more daily as written sign or a space, time to check in...

The tough stuff is yonder inside the person who could be getting confidence from others to play with further more others. #Evangelism if you will (as there are plenty of #Tech angels here,..

Emotions, Emotional intelligence - to hear what people are saying or could be in other words and help train nuances / variances etc..

To say "nice one!" and occasionally rant is still not the improvement I mean or only a small part of it = it's not dedicated / organised... and even weird for others if 1 person says it rather than a group (#psychology at play)

My attempts probably need 'legitimizing' as it's easy to blame myself - but surely all across Fediverse questions go unanswered and lost.

It should be good enough ANYONE can type, have hands or legs or just pure will to be able to be asked or given something to do - even create on top of existing things.
You can't even draw a picture and send it to someone.
A bit more dedicated plug-in-and-play into non-commercial work for the whole cause(s)...

NEEDING TO SKILL-UP

To increase emotional intelligence is one thing since we all start out with and without many skills -directly we need to teach and make that part of our instances... else just have slow progress as 'users' (and abusers actually with Techies included in not doing minimal human practice which catches up with us all one day).

A few people can really do good work on each instance and build trust and have it visible / tangible / witnessed...

My life proves people actually can't do many things like reply (low and lacking any depth) and the truth why, is not clear, so that needs to come out.

Lack of depth is killing other people and planet (without being a drama king or queen about it)

We really have to help others FULL STOP.

(yes some won't need but really all this tech is less useful without more depth)

The training / nudging of people daily on how to communicate or give example by making audio podcasts together - just something... already in line with what they want to do, retro game revival or whatever - just not playing alone and wasting time. Linux PlayStation also needs merging with People's streams....and work for us all more often *personally*.

What is measurably the potential (if not problem) on the #Fediverse is things like teaching / showing that pseudonyms are still real people, the avatar doesn't always represent someone totally etc etc and what all these scary #acronyms mean.

Help others say aloud if they doubt and resolve it.

#Tech and #Techies can be cold non-emotional / overly logical when dealing with humans and obviously this is barely human.

While I UNDERSTAND human 'imperfection' is crap compared to 'perfect' machine and seems more desirable, it's not and not sustainable or ethical. All jobs and people need to inject more humanity into their 'jobs' (which are their to strip and extract very specific usually-unhealthy things for state as profit)

Updating and Writing copies of this now just to get some feedback. @freemo you will get a shorter version and hopefully benefit from revision so can skip this for now.

🔴 ANSWERS / THE LIST

➡️ 1. Better human social systems = better human #friendships

➡️ 2. Machine Systems themselves provide access to #1 but can't actually do it (at all) which is why social practise is needed

➡️ 3. Machine Systems use coincidence more often (#hashtags, #algorithms, not much else) and expect users to know how to *actually* communicate beyond 'nice cat' comments and "nice car" pictures'. This is the void or potential that needs work.

➡️ 4. People need to grow their brains and ability to moderate feelings internally (systems do not do that) to become better people - not just users which might 'at some point' get it and bumble along saying it's no fault of their own (which is true if others are not actively helping

➡️ 5. Humanity needs human work, not just machines.

Better social systems = better #friendships

This might be seen as "The Next Level" model beyond just logging in to a communication #platform or #installing a server - because it actually involves the individuals doing more of the work between them, and then finding / accepting others in turn... like a kind of tuning or solving of own missing pieces. 🧩 if you agree that as individuals we are like unique copies and similarities of each other while also sharing the same world so there is a lot in common (and rightly should be).

Rolling the dice more often with people creatively and otherwise 🎲 but not just as weirdos contacting each other - a better system or way on top.

For those that really don't want of course that's fine, step aside, BUT also for those that want / need encouragement and have some direction and feelings in life... Let us all process it.

Nobody wants to be alone and I agree nobody wants to be a shoulder to cry on all the time - but it needs something in the middle and not just being increasingly alone (again my opinion but is measurable but modern capitalistic systems and profit-orientated ways that CUT OUT the humans parts and even replace it with machines).

What seems to work is actual non-demanding friendship or a sliding scale so that the doors are not totally closed or totally open either... and that middle opens up a whole new world (as friends local and afar gather and from mass turn into a better human unit).

100% the one-way social is not enough so something for everyone need to be there, not starting from extremes but not stopping after giving another messaging device... stepping towards the extreme as a nicer "program of bettering the brain more often" / re-education / enjoyment of our own selves- improving on many levels of contact all the while.

🔴 YOUTUBE AS EXAMPLE
We have youtube but we don't really have contact with those great people. So we can see ourselves in the same dynamic while not needing to be a big hollywood star and being more accessible.

Youtube is great (apart from being google etc) but the one-way video stuff gets to you after a while as you see you're just a user... but a more together youtube contact where people are able to see and acknowledge you on a more neutral / less advertising space like Mastodon is also essential beyond just watching. Even work with them! This is perhaps the ultimate goal for every artist or educator and while it's "God not all at once" you do need to link people in else just have empty gallery or just tourists who barely use your work or remember you.

🔴 USERS JUST KILLING TIME WITHOUT PARENTS / TEACHERS / EDUCATORS / ETC

So to make sure as 'users' were are not just killing time (from nothing else to do) we seem to need more relativity with others.
Yes some / all of us can use it to kill time nicely but often it's from nothing else to do (which can be bad)

It's like relying on tech while people stay the same less-skilled levels and less-confident online to actually build trust or measures things better.
Essentially need teaching and regular related examples.

Not investing in people themselves (and more tech) basically means we need a better balance between us than just being given a social messaging system ... or it's the natural next level after we have #Mastodon etc

Encouraging closer social relativity... Growing people essentially (not expecting any outside system to do it but us ourselves).

Improving human relationship seems to be the #1 solution to many things which externally / outside are more conditional and as ultimatums to connecting so not quite able to be honest (it's #money or #conditions first). To make sure we are not just "users" of any system... we need to see and practise more ourselves #neutrally / #expressively.

Talking together more often might not be for everyone BUT as system makers it's not only about giving people a system and leaving them to and expecting less #cordinated stuff to work (for those that want / can see others doing it and benefits).

It's like giving a child a new phone and expecting them to use it properly. Adults are still fairly new to online and technology even in the basic text sense we've had for a while.

If 'systems' by themselves only help interact and don't solve actually interacting past one-way messages then everything people can do online or offline can fail to connect properly if actually they don't practise making friends more often or going beyond just monetary exchange (needing to have a job and #friends / #colleagues lost after #jobs

🔴 GOALS (without sounding to inhuman about this independent #project)

➡️ responsibility for each of us to increase user-to-user interaction on networks
➡️ match-making ourselves in that sense
➡️ encouraging closer social relativity... growing people essentially (not just code, machines, more systems without our own invested work / only mainstreams stuff to share with others)

Not just installing any #mastodon or any #system but actually people doing the people work, almost literally🏃 running to each other 🏃 to see how and who they can help... and vice versa.

We have #fediverse #system for example, who as people can't do communication and incrementing trust at all - so useless without someone doing something about that in itseld - literally re-training ourselves how to make friends and deal with imperfection.

Circle seem to mitigate / repair that with someone respectful in between...

So my question is, are the respectful one or person needing help if you agree it's not just '#systems' to blame...

💬 I notice for a long time that locked accounts had ⌛ icon after requesting (needing manual confirmation) but now noticed a lot of the same accounts are not locked ... and I can follow without request.

Yes it could just be a few accounts or people realised problems that people were stuck in ⌛ but also I tried double-checking to clarify by sending direct messages to people (and didn't get a reply).
So maybe something didn't work more than just people not wanting me to follow...

Maybe people are not getting requests (it's hard to say BUT i can say that many account NEVER got out of ⌛ - I was / am stuck half-following and that did seem odd)

Messaging them without reply can suggest incompatible / blocked server or something even if not all of them and people are just unresponsive many times.

So yes it's now better without lock but maybe of a bit of a sign something people realised - might be a bit stuck even with friendly servers (while I accept many might not say "I'm not sure about you or going to tell me "no" or manually message back) usually people want to just not have blank accounts...
