@freemo Apparently at least 2 people got wounded. Kinda seems peanuts compared to those 1500+ fishes. :P Happened in the night apparently, around 5:45. So wouldn't be too many people around.
Wow, what am I reading here in the news. Apparently a *gigantic* aquarium in Berlin kind of exploded, and all the water went everywhere with over thousand tropical fishes washing away.
Jeez, I hope the majority of those fishes could be rescued.

Note that we are not a 'free speech' server but an 'academic freedom' server now. Not much has changed in essence, we were always supposed to have academic freedom.
I believe so too. When people experienced slowdowns because of the ticker shutdown, @freemo moved all the people from the old default-with-tickers to the new default, which is qoto-no-tickers.
Some people might've been overlooked when they switched themes on their own before or something like that.
@agterrane @pwinn Read dark? You mean you can't read a dark theme? That's not a problem. There should be plenty of bright themes without tickers.
Looks like it's time to do some meta-gaming again on Steam. 
The Mysterious Cards, which always pop up right before a Big Sale, can be found in the Market. Time to craft badges and uh.. gain more cards! 😋

That is indeed a ticker thing. I thought that got shutdown? I remember a case about a month ago where people got huge slowdowns on Qoto because that service shut down and people loaded Qoto slowly as a result.
I've never used those kind of themes as I found those tickers highly annoying. I've switched to Mastodon Default Dark a long time ago.

Using #vim is easy once you learn a few basic keybindings.
h and l - move left and right
j and k - move down and up
η and λ - move backwards and forwards through time
ξ and κ - translation through additional temporal dimension (if applicable)
ᚻ, ᛄ, ᚳ and ᛚ - moving left, down, up, and right through celestial spheres
𐤄 and 𐤋 - switch deity to pantheon member to left or right
ᛄ - supplicate to chosen deity
ᚳ - challenge chosen deity (dangerous)
:q - exit
