@skyblond Replaced it now. I even swapped the balls because the new one was too stiff, not worn out enough lol. I have to get used to the smoothness again.
Since I couldn't find the receiver, I just paired the old one up with this one too.

@skyblond Oh, I am planning to screw it open and see what's up. :P I'm far too conscious to actually break it like that but hey, it's nice fantasizing. :P

I do have spares, so I probably should put one of those to use now before playing.

Man, this trackball is starting to annoy me. The rightclick usually results in double rightclicking, which ruins my fun in games.

I seriously am considering throwing it hard to the floor, grabbing a hammer, and smashing it to smithereens.

I seriously am considering that, yes.

It would be SO satisfying for torturing me like that for the last month.

@skyblond In that case, you better make sure you can sustain yourself with this.

What about this: Just do the programming job. And have this handwork as a hobby and see if you can expand from there.

@skyblond I've heard weird horror stories about strict Asian parents who only want their kids to be the very best. It's like the kids are an extension of themselves. If their kids aren't succesful, then they aren't either. Something like that.

The mentality in Europe is mostly 'as long as you're happy and can take care of yourself'. Of course, there are European parents too who want the kids to be the very best, but they're not the majority. At least, I think. Everybody around me are relaxed with their parents.

Just make sure that you can take care of yourself, depending on how well the social welfare support is in your country.

@skyblond I have the idea you need a hobby where you can put passion into to counter the soulcrushing from the university?

@sergeant Yes, marking it as sensitive is a good move. You could just add a 'potential death, unconfirmed' next time or so, not necessarily a CW itself.

But a propos Tusky, you click on the chat balloon with a '!' in it, that creates a content warning layout. Just so you know.

@sergeant Well, when there is a potential death I think there should be an extra warning as that's a different category of severity. Same deal for huge disfigurements from beating or something. Some extra warning than merely 'shocking'. People need to know what they're in for if it's really that bad.

@sergeant This happened 3-4 days ago looks like. They outsourced the cleaning of trains from dedicated cleaning units to some poor sod with a bucket and mop. Likely untrained as well.

Still not sure whether he died or not. He's taken to intensive care, is seriously injured.. but did he survive? No idea.

@freemo Kinda looks like you missed placing this as a reply?

@sergeant Mrm, think next time you should add a warning of 'possible death' then, because I can't see this going well if it's real.

@sergeant So, uh, did he survive? Though it looks edited at the end.

@TruthSandwich You know you can toggle per person you follow whether you want to see boosts or not from that person?

You know, Avatar the Last Airbender is actually a story about Zuko (and Iroh)... Aang's team is just there for the side quests!
