@krrw Heh, looks like Facebook now, where everybody and their granny gets notified of new profile and cover pictures..

@sgryphon Not as difficult as the ones in my country I bet...

@GoatsLive I'm sure the squirrel would be able to get to that tree before Mouse notices! The distance seems far enough.

@sean But when I said I'd like a remake of this game, actually envisioned a totally modern approach. Not point and click adventure style. Just the same universe.. and then going to that same shop and just buy everything! I guess I meant a remaster or something?

@GoatsLive Heh, Mouse doesn't even seem interested in the squirrel!

@sean Heh, that's cool. Not my style though, I actually liked the more cartoony approach of the EGA SQ3. I think the biggest problem with VGA is that people tend to try to make it more realistic looking. I don't think it has to be.

@sean Our biggest hurdle was the hint sentence 'Destroy android by pods'. Took a whole long time to figure out we had to walk along that cave with those weird creatures, and lure the android bounty hunter along there to destroy it. :D

I want a remake of this game, and then be able to buy everything in that weird shop in the desert (just before the android goes after you).

@sean Let me elaborate a little bit.

I played LSL1, KQ3, PQ1 before that one... but SQ3 holds a special place in my heart because I actually finished that from start to finish on my own and learned a lot of English. The others were just stepping stones and we had a walkthrough for those. SQ3 only had 'hints' and that was a lot tougher.

@Sphinx Heh, okay.

You're Chinese, right? Living in China? Does China only have one timezone for this large country?

@Sphinx
"Are you guys in the same time zone as the UK?"

Not really, the UK is on GMT, we're on GMT+1. It'll be GMT+2 soon in about a week as we'll switch to Summer Time then.

@Sphinx
"What time is it over there?"

It's currently 19:13 as I post this.

@loke That's some mangled up whiteboard with screw holes and something glued on it...

@oppen

@FediFollows I'm just now wondering why those descriptions weren't in French.. ;)

Small Bitburner update. I've beaten BitNode 4.1 and also 5.1, each by homiciding about 15 hours to get enough negative karma, and then nuke that node with a gang backing me up.

Now I've chosen BitNode 10.1 because it introduces the Sleeves technology. Basically Sleeves are clones of myself so I can do multiple things at once. That does include doing crimes to get negative karma very fast, which means I'll be able to form a gang even sooner.

So, in less-than-15-hours I might be able to form a gang, and then eventually break this BitNode as well and have some extra clones at hand for the next BitNode.

Pondering to make use of a corporation as well for near-infinite money so that I can buy all permanent upgrades for my clones before I move on.

@mc You know it is near hopeless if even Joey can do it better.
@freemo

@soundwave It is as if people think old rules never should be adapted to modern times!

That's not only capitalism, but goes for a boatload of other things as well. It's quite silly.
