Actually, I've seen there's a mindset going that if you give a platform to nazis, that you're enabling them. Basically the 'if you are not against them, then you are for them'.

Either you block nazis, or you are a nazi. It's a quite black and white worldview for them.

@JakubKuczys Users who never had set the theme manually have their default theme already adjusted to one without tickers.

I think you probably had adjusted the theme yourself before, that's probably why you couldn't get moved over as easily.

As to the existing themes with tickers.. I think it's probably a good idea to eventually remove them, @freemo ?

@JakubKuczys Yeah, it's been addressed before. :) You will need to change your theme to sometihng that doesn't include tickers. The ticker system is shut down and that's what causes all those hang ups.

@keuningin Ik heb het idee dat je eigenlijk meer op een Nederlandstalige instance wilt zitten? Qoto is meer internationaal wetenschappelijk gefocuseerd. Als je daar niet veel mee hebt, dan is het misschien lastiger voor jou om het gezellig te krijgen in de lokale tijdslijn.

Not much that can be done about it I'm afraid. There are a lot of small instances like that unfortunately. :(

If you want to be able to follow the posts of those few, you can still subscribe to them (but they won't be able to see your comments).

I'm afraid you'll have to discuss with your buddies what to do if you want to be able to interact with them. Maybe one of you two move, maybe both move. I wish you good luck in trying to reconnect with them!

@LouisIngenthron Is it me or are there actually a bunch of new apothecary/potion-related games lately? I mean, I saw a bunch of new ones on Steam, so maybe it's some bias I'm seeing now but it caught my attention. :)
