@peterdrake Mm, wouldn't it make more sense to have those look like really little white arrows instead?

@freemo It's totally unreadable.
Granted, so are most of your toots with your spelling. ;)

@freemo @skyblond If Threads end up to be a ad spamming machine, I'd gladly agree to a silence/suspension.

@atomicpoet That works for me too, me being a gamer. Just that you won't be able to read my responses on the calckey one as we're apparently suspended there. ;)

So what are your fave genres?

Erotic humor

@sergeant Just kinda wonder if he's still cured of it when he's back with his spouse... 😜

@piggo I think that's called the magic hour, when the light is at a certain angle.

Moms cat passed away

@stux My condoleances. 🙁 Never fun to lose a beloved pet. At least he had a good life?

@stux Federated stuff saved on your servers is not problematic at all (unless it breaks your local laws like kiddie porn and other awful stuff).

At worst maybe you break some American rule about data storage, but eh. We're likely way past that point anyway.

You're free to block Meta of course, but your reasoning sounds a bit flawed to me which is actually helluva confusing.

Meta is too lazy to make their app GDPR-compliant, which is why that isn't allowed. But them federating should be a seperate thing.

@stux You sure about that? Their content is allowed there, it's just that their data scraping isn't allowed here and their app is full of data scraping.

You know the phrase that the grass is greener at the other side? Ok, maybe not grass here, but my neighbours at either side of my house certainly have a lot more branches to deal with than I do.

It isn't really that windy anymore so I walked a small round around my neighbourhood to check up on damages. Didn't see toppled trees or damaged roofs or missing solar panels which is a good thing. The street was full of leaves and twigs but otherwise still accessible. But the walkway behind our gardens was littered with huge branches. Exactly at the spots of the garden entrances of both neighbours. 🤣

I'm lucky my garden is basically between those 2 huge trees in the park behind our gardens. 😅 I've got only some small sweeping job to do.

@stux Actually, it is kinda the other way around. I'm not sure it would be clever for Meta to be federating with EU platforms. You can harm it more than they can harm you if you play it right. ;)

@piggo Neat! Well, not the ticking and scratching and stuffs of course.

@sergeant Because they don't want to deal with GDPR considering all that sweet sweet data is what they live off of.

Another reason we actually should be very glad with GDPR.

The Americans are the true victims here.
