Let's just remember that back then, even if we created things from scratch more often, it was a relatively small group doing the programming.

Now we have way more people invested in it, and even if they mostly do clicky programming, there's probably a bit more variety and results.

I guess it's all about perspective.

@mur2501 It's less weird than you think. We have had a situation like that before. PvdA (left) and VVD (right) ruled together, they were 2 very large parties.

The VVD managed to get most of their agenda fulfilled, and after the term ended the PvdA was punished severely at the next elections with more than half the votes gone. The former PvdA-voters went to other left parties instead.

It wasn't a great coalition either, heh.

When looking up about this quickly, it makes me realize that our prime-minister Rutte has been at the top for quite a long time, jeez. I don't agree with the party he's in (VVD), but I have to admit he's quite a stable figurehead.

(Hey Trump, you could take notes from this guy. Yes, this very guy who said 'no' straight in your face in 2018!)
