@johnabs I once knew a professor who was into knitting in his spare time. He offered to knit that hat for me if I could front him the money for the yarn. So I paid up, and a month later or so he mailed me the hat. It was awesome, lol. The instructions on the site we looked at might've been a bit off with the sizes, though. Was a little bit too big. ;)

But it wasn't a hundred bucks. ;) Much cheaper.

Just go to any post of someone from another instance and click the triple dots. You should see the option on the bottom.

It should be similar on the mobile web interface.

This is another Qoto-specific feature.

I think there are a few reasons why it differs. Qoto is a few versions behind default Mastodon. And this also allows for putting the followed stuff in other timelines, like in one of your own lists. I'm not sure default Mastodon can do this.

@Roelant Dat verschilt per instance. Hier kan je wel quoten, bijvoorbeeld. Maar Mastodon-default heeft dat in ieder geval niet.

I never use the apps because the Mastodon website is already so mobile-friendly.

Plus Qoto has a few features that other instances don't have, and it isn't reflected in the apps as most of them go by the default Mastodon standards.

How do you view the community feed on another server... the app probably doesn't have it as that's not default Mastodon.

@spectralsoul Hah yeah. But be aware that latex at the moment isn't worky yet, it's very broken. So if you can manage it via normal text, or via images, that'd come over better for the time being until @freemo fixes this. ;)
