@inspired I've actually been so very busy lately that I don't remember anymore if we've had a conversation and about what the conversation was. 😅

So the answer would be 'Uhhh... maybe I watched it, whatever it was!' ;) (Although I'm watching very little Netflix lately.. precisely because I was so busy!)

@maliha
And neither am I. But many others are. Welcome to Qoto!

@kawherp Mmm, I need to find another online store I think, for the more specialized stuff. I use Zooplus in my country. DentaLife is available in smaller sachets and is kind of very expensive. Sounds like you use a.. well actually how big is 19 oz? in kilograms? ;)

Natural Balance I can't even find. But I'll bookmark your answers so I can check them out later.

@kawherp *Snorts* Hey food is food! ;)

But it makes sense. I'd prefer my cat to do mostly dry food too. I even have dry food added that's good for the teeth cleaning (doc's advice), but he's not really eating dry food much at all. :/ And I know from experience that he can really eat way too little (it took me 2 months to get him to a more fuller shape now that is not 'too thin').

May I ask what kind of dryfood you have for your cats?

@vielbein It's actually broken-ish. It does 'render' but not always correct. It looks like shit over here for example. Just wait until this gets fixed before you annoy others with the rendering errors. :P

@mathlover @freemo

@kawherp Oh, you don't usually do wetfood? I do both. Dryfood available all day, but at certain times of the day (well, 'certain' is stretching it, but at least scattered somewhat regularly throughout the day) a bit of wet food from the sachet. If I don't do this, he'd become so thin you can feel his spine sticking out when rubbing over his back. :/

Of course, he's already 13 years old, so he's actually a very old grumpy boy now.

@kkstuppy Mm, they seem a bit slow and not really accessible from here somehow. But I'm glad you found your old crew! Good luck with your new home!

@kawherp You've got a very interesting household with those two around, lol.

Very relatable too. My cat really isn't the snuggly kind, but he loves to be 'in the same room as me'. I do force cuddle him at least once a day, though. After all... even though he owns me, he is still my pet! ;)

I'll have to make an appointment with the vet sometime soon (yearly routine). Probably might need something done to his teeth again, he is eating a bit difficult lately. Although today he finally actually cleared his plate without altogether too much fuss.

Look it up, there'll be plenty of resources telling you the gist of it. :)

I think Afrikaans is something weird. I'm not a linguist mind you, but I've looked into it a little bit in the past and this is what I somewhat remember:

Afrikaans is not a descendant from Dutch, but from some Dutch-ancestor that we share. It was established before a proper standardized Dutch language was around in our country.

So while we were evolving to proper Dutch here, they diverged from there on. It turned into this language that sounds like a very kiddie Dutch to us, but it's totally its own language.

Of course I could be totally wrong here, but that's what I remember from my little research back then.

@waiterich I believe Mastodon Glitch might be one of the most used Mastodon forks around (I don't know for sure, it's just what I think). So if you're interested in knowing what it can do, the following link might be of interest:
glitch-soc.github.io/docs/

Might give you an idea what else can be around.

@kawherp Oh, cats... nobody can live up to the cats' expectations, don't feel bad about it. Just force-cuddle them once in a while even if they yowl in protest. ;)

@RomanticSkeptic @tho@c.im That doesn't surprise me at all. It's part of the cultural and regional differences in the language. :)

In colonised Indonesia (some 70 years ago...) the Dutch spoken over there was a lot more 'proper Dutch' than the Dutch spoken in the Netherlands itself. On top of that, it had some Indonesian influence as well with certain words and phrases.
