@futurebird I'm thinking of this following scenario now:
For every link that they find interesting, they sign up at that instance. And if another thread is linked from a different instance, they sign up there.. and then there.. and there.. and...
I can totally see this happening! 😅

Die quote-toot functie is er al op vele andere instances. Om daarover te kissebissen vind ik verspilde moeite. Verhuis gewoon naar eentje die dat wel heeft.
Maar wat ik wel graag zou willen is een ander kleurtje te kunnen geven per gebruiker in mijn feed. Wel zo handig. :P

Ik kan uit ervaring zeggen dat 2000 het minimum is en 4000 de sweet spot voor me. Da's alles.

Iedereen is welkom hoor. Het nerd-gehalte is een beetje hoog. Maar dat moet geen probleem zijn. ;)

Dat deed ik niet, dat deed mijn admin. Hij wou alles uitleggen daarin. Klopt, ik had mijn bedenkingen bij, en onze andere moderator raadde het zelfs af. Ahja, 'tis what it is. Dust lijkt nu wel te settlen, dus we gaan gewoon onze gang nu, ondanks onze delisting in joinmastodon. Wel minder users per dag erbij, tsja. We hebben wel een gezonde community.

Om het simpel te zeggen: Elke server wordt altijd wel door een andere server geblockt in de Fediverse.
Desondanks is Qoto nog steeds een van de meest verbonden servers op de Fediverse. Het zijn meestal van die rare links-extremistische servertjes die Qoto blocken, en veelal kleiner dan 100 users elk. Dus boeie.

People are like "why use the #favorite button if it doesn't boost it algorithmically?" and it's like, I don't know about any of you, but it makes me feel happy when someone favorite's something I say.
So from my perspective, you have a button whose sole purpose is that when you press it you could make someone feel a little happy.
Why wouldn't you press that button as much as you can?
