@kreyren It's perfectly possible. The wheel that got loose is still having its momentum, and if the other car is faster and end up onto the wheel, it gets launched because of the direction of the loose wheel. Double momentum basically, and then it's going to the moon.

I think you are mistaken. It is not minutes, it often is mere seconds. In many cases you won't have that much time to react. You will feel a sensation, possibly, yes. You'll know that you might get struck, yes. You just won't have much time to react to it.

And for the love of whatever gods, do NOT lie down. Keep your touching surface area to the floor as small as possible. If you have to low, go squat.

@arda Good to know. For now I'm taking the cheaper and less effort way out with microSD cards. But I certainly do see an SSD upgrade here in the (distant) future.

For one, lightning 'just happens'. Best you can do is to educate people not to stand below trees during lightning storms and other good advice.

For two, shootings can and should be preventable. There are many ways possible towards that goal, and not much action's been taken so far if I have to believe the media. Just endless debates.

Just because it happens less than lightning strikes, you shouldn't do much effort against it? While it could possibly be prevented to begin with?

@gpowerf I've finally played the Aperture Desk Job. That gave me a much better insight in what the gyro can do. Not bad. Though I likely won't play shooters because I just don't like shooters. :D

The coming days I'll have a few 512GB microSDXC cards in, then I can install the bigger games. The internal storage is almost full. :P

@gpowerf I've tried it a bit with Toy Box Turbo since I had that installed and it was with little racing cars.

Well, I was already bad at it before with the joypad. I am absolutely a terrible driver with the gyro. 😅

I probably should search for some 3D game for it sometime, but I really dislike playing those games with joypads/trackpads.

Wow, the Steam Deck, in its Linux desktop environment (KDE in this case), certainly has a shitton of emulators ready to install. 👀
There's even a few Switch emulators in the list, lol.

@meechele7 Well, this is just my social media of choice. Twitter's ad-ridden, and I once literally searched for something like Twitter but with a bigger character limit. Mastodon was the best result. Been sticking around for over 5 years now.

Woo, I got my Steam Deck in! I've been trying out a few games and also tested out the gyro. Not sure I'll be using the gyro that much, but LEGO games and such work perfectly fine on that thing. 😁

Went to play a good session of FAR: Lone Sails, it's kinda getting used to a smaller screen. I mean, I usually game on a 24" monitor. :P

I also managed to mooch a dock from job, still gotta test that out with the deck but it'll be a nice loaner until I get a nice dock that's more suited for holding the Deck. A Deck dock. :P
