Okay, you're clearly not from the Netherlands. Helmets here are for the elderly, kids, racing, very fast ebikers, and tourists. ;)

@jack1142 The version number is actually misleading as we run a modified Mastodon instance and seperately import the new features from the official branch.

There'll be some updates incoming. I'll ask @freemo if he can at least modify that number to sometihng completely different so people won't get confused. ;)

@capt_canadia You can delete and redraft that post (though you'd lose faves and boosts and threaded comments).

An edit feature is on its way though. We're planning to import some new features from the main branch. No idea of the ETA, so a delete and redraft is the current option. (Click on the 3 dots near your toot)

@kefir Instances can limit their amount of users to ensure they don't need bigger machines to be able to keep up with the influx.

Some instances stick to 5k users, some to 100k. I don't know what we stick at but so far we still have capacity.

I think I'm way too busy with all the stuff AROUND gaming than the actual gaming itself. Especially when those games have mods and I feel the need to meticulously make a list somewhere with all the features of those mods and what I could do with them.

Yeah, ultimately I do nothing with them because I'm too busy making those lists! 😋

Plus your bite-sized posts seem to cut off at weird spots. A list that gets cut off instead of letting it be listed fully in one post?

@s_gruppetta Why don't you make use of this server's wonderful feature of being able to have one big post? It's a bit spammy this way and makes it less readable.

If you insist on seperating your posts up like that, I'd suggest to have your first post be public and subsequent ones be unlisted (since they're threaded the first post will suffice to be publicly shown).

If someone advertises their profile page somewhere (not necessarily on the Fediverse), you can just copy that address in your search bar and see their profile all in your Mastodon interface.

You can do that too for toots on other instances that somehow didn't get federated to your instance and can force to load it via the toot's URL address in your search bar. A forced federation of that one toot. Easy if you wanted to comment on that one from within your interface.
