@acjay No, we had following of hashtags before official Mastodon did it. Go to qoto.org/settings/follow_tags
It has more features too like to which timeline it should go.

If you like LEGO games, then this bundle over at Humble is a pretty good deal!
humblebundle.com/games/lego-at

For 10 euro you can get 9 LEGO games. Usually I see deals of 2 LEGO games for 10 euro, so this bundle is pretty sweet.

My favorite is probably Jurassic World, fun map and gameplay. And you get to play with dinosaurs!
Next up might be LEGO Movie, just so absurd that it's endearing. Though I disliked LEGO Movie 2, that was just absurd without the endearing part. :P

Only a few tenfuls of those fishes have been rescued... the ones who were still lingering in the bottom part of the exploded aquarium.

I think there shouldn't be a mega-aquarium like this anymore...

@jayteeexcel Would be funny if they all followed you.

You don't look like an Ewok by any chance, do you? ;)

Elon Musk and Autism/Aspergers

I certainly don't speak for all autistic people or for the autism community in general, but as an autistic person and someone who knows many autistic people who are kind, compassionate, honest, and decent human beings, I feel compelled to make this statement:

Elon Musk is an egotistical narcissistic megalomaniac who is out of touch with reality, power hungry, entitled, privileged, corrupt little man but nothing he does or thinks or says is because of autism.

If anyone is writing about him, or reporting on him, or making any attempt to analyze what is going on in that head of his, please keep autism out of the equation.

Does he actually have Aspergers, like he claims? Who knows. He says he does but clearly he lies. A lot. I don't know him well enough nor am I qualified to make that assessment.

Ultimately though, it doesn't matter. Autistic people can be evil too. It just means that autism isn't the reason.

So please do myself and all of the autistic people I know and any who agree with this statement a favour and leave autism out of the discussion.

@ambihelical Yeah. Both Misskey and Pleroma can do this, I believe.

@freemo @kjr Oh, and I finally found this feature on mastodon.social, it's spruced up.

@freemo
👍

now that leaves the question that's in the first toot of this thread. :)

@kjr

@freemo
That explains why I can't find this feature on mastodon.social now. When we upgrade our server, will we keep this around?

And what's its algorithm like?

@kjr

@favus Oh! An old fashioned heater. So you're not totally without heat, glad to read that!

@kjr I figure they're probably part of Mastodon itself, though I don't seem to find this feature anymore in the new Mastodon versions unless I overlooked it. @freemo probably can tell a bit more whether this is Mastodon-wide or Qoto-specific.

@kjr I have the suspicion it is a calculation of the result of your interactions with others in the past.

The suggestions I've been given are people that I've interacted with at some point as far as I can see.

Assuming that you mostly interact with others that you find interesting, I can imagine that your list of suggestions are 'freaking interesting' to you. :)

@freemo Out of those 4, I think I like the first one. Describes you well. ;)

@szescstopni Neither am I, though we don't have a layer of snow here.

It's just too cold!
