@acjay I've read everywhere that LinkedIn is just a Facebook clone nowadays. People from work post about their hobbies and pets over there. So I'm kinda surprised to read from you that LinkedIn is filled with people 'primed to see work-oriented content'. :)

@acjay Yeah, keep in mind though that most Mastodon instances are on default settings and have a 500 character limit.

Personally I still find that to be too small. I've found my minimum is about 2000 characters, and about 4000 is my sweet spot. At that point I can make any post without having to worry about character count.

@bentality It should be, yeah. I believe around here (NL) you need to be at least able to cancel it the same way as you got it.

- I will need a new litterbox that's easier to maintain.
- I think the kitty door might be broken. Or misconfigured somehow, because it won't react to my cat's chip anymore. No wonder he's never outside anymore.
- My shed door lock is broken, I can't go out of my garden that way. That means I'll have to wheel the bin through the house through the front door to bring it curbside for emptying. And there are _steps_... and the bin is _heavy_. So much fun to come.

I suppose I could do this #3GoodThings today too.

- Tested negative! Yay, I have no excuse anymore for doing nothing. :P
- Cleansed litterbox.
- Sweeped the garden and filled the bin.

@TheOldGuy Huh nice. I live in the city, near the suburbs. A small garden of about... 7 by... uh.. 11? meter is mine to take care of. Plus a smaller front garden that I mostly ignore but is doing otherwise fine too.

I think for me that's big enough. I'm not living a very active life. :) Though it'd be nice to live 'near the woods' so to speak, but then I'd have to be further away from the city and that won't be it for me.

I do have a view on a small park though, and my area's fairly green. If I wanted to, a 10 min bike is off to the lake. I suppose that's something.
