@higharchmage I do plain yoghurt, not the Greek one. Though I suppose it would work very nicely on Greek yoghurt as well.

@JonKramer Spiders in coffees are certainly a possibility. So are flies in soups. ;)

Maybe you should go visit a pet store and ask if you could handle a mouse so you can get in touch with them and maybe that'll help get rid of the irrational fear? I dunno, bring a cup along and put the mouse in it to see what it looks like. I mean, they always say 'face your fears', well, then just put a cute mouse in a cup, have the situation under your control?

@JonKramer

Mm. I once went to a French cafetaria where I ordered a hot choc.

While drinking said hot choc I thought it was weird that the solid chocolatey bits were a bit crunchy. So I went to check what I got in my mouth...

Pieces of a cockroach. :P

The cafetaria owner apologized and asked if I'd like a new cup....
No, thanks, I'm good, thanks.

The first few times after that I was a bit wary of my hot chocs, but then life resumed as usual.

So whenever you fear dead mice in your cup of coffee... be comforted that this will at least be a lot easier to spot than pieces of a coackroach which could be mistaken for pieces of (very crunchy) chocolate. 😋

@knuppelbeer Veel geblaat, weinig wol, vermoed ik. Het zijn vooral rumors nu. Men zit over moderatiestijlen te discussieren begreep ik.

En ja, je laat je oud posts achter, die kunnen niet meegenomen worden.

I found out that pouring some syrup in plain yoghurt makes for a very tasty fruity yoghurt. (I used a forest fruits syrup in this case)

Easiest dessert ever. 🥣

@lydiaconwell No clue. I don't generally ask questions to the Fediverse at large. ;)

Unless it's about phones.

I hate phones.

@lydiaconwell Oh, yes. That's a long post behind a CW. I think it's a huge oversight that they don't apply the Read More to CWed long posts.
We have this problem too.

Just be glad it doesn't happen often, I suppose.

@knuppelbeer Heb je daar concreet bewijs van?

I.i.g. zal Qoto nooit blocken. ;)

@lydiaconwell I think they automatically put a 'Read more' in there after a certain size?

My instance allows us to post 65k characters. :P

@lydiaconwell Yeah, you're such a great role model! Thanks for that! :)

@kefir Qoto runs a fork of Mastodon, which means parts of the Mastodon releases gets imported. The version number doesn't reflect at all anymore what we're at.

@freemo is planning to pull in the more recent 4.0 updates soon since we do want the edit and translate features.

@EubieDrew It should, yeah. At the worst they'd see : mastodon : without the spaces, but generally speaking it should be rendered into the mastodon icon everywhere.

I hate phones

@petetaylor

Ooh! Yay, I've got a couple questions:

- I've read about people just scrolling websites and the screen regularly stuttering during that. The whole interface feels slow and starting up apps would take a second or two to load. Camera is also sluggish, and people tended to miss the perfect camera moment by having a slow camera there.

I've also read that during an October update and turning off features fixes most if not all of them. But those reports are less abundant. You're not having any moment that you think 'darn, I wish this thing was faster'?

From reports of people online I saw frustration and that people were disappointed in the speed, and that they regretted buying it and would love to swap it for other phones. That's a bit scary for me for that price.

- How's the vibration of the phone? Is it pretty strong, or is it more like a zooming of a washing machine (which means less attention grabbing than a RAKTATATA vibration)?

@obi

@2ck In that case.. maybe Greasemonkey, which then injects some javascript automatically playing some audio when certain criteria are met?

@2ck Stylus is a browser plugin that enables you to change a website's looks depending on the values you give it. It can be pretty powerful. I thought it could've helped you highlight a toot.

userstyles.world

@nomi Yeah, but how do you actually trap them? 👀
